The 24th season of Apex Legends has brought significant changes to the weapon meta: some guns have become almost mandatory picks in every match, while others have fallen into obscurity or are very situational. If you're looking for the best weapons to secure a win or simply want to avoid poor firearm choices, this ranking will help you figure out which guns dominate the current season and which are better left on the ground.
Apex Weapon Tier List
All weapons are divided into 5 tiers: S, A, B, C, D based on their damage parameters, shooting convenience, TTK (time to kill), spawn frequency, and more.
- S-tier weapons are those with virtually no drawbacks this season, and having them in skilled hands means an easy win over opponents.
- A-tier weapons are the best choice if you can't get an S-tier weapon. They also have minor drawbacks that don't significantly impact gameplay.
- B-tier weapons have more noticeable issues but are still suitable for most gameplay situations where they will be effective.
- C-tier weapons are better avoided unless there are no other options or you find the necessary hop-ups.
- Weapons worth using only at the start if you can't find anything else. They often require very skilled use to be effective even under the unfavorable conditions of the current season.

Tier (Weapon Level) | Weapon |
S | Eva-8, L-Star, R-99, Nemesis, Rampage |
A | Mastiff, Flatline, G7 Scout, Hemlok, R-301, Spitfire, Wingman |
B | 30-30, Longbow, Prowler, Volt, Sentinel, Charge Rifle |
C | C.A.R., Triple Take, Akimbo Mozambique |
D | Alternator, Devotion, Akimbo P2020, RE-45 |
S-Tier Weapons in Apex Legends
Weapon Name | Weapon Type/Class | Head Damage | Body Damage | Leg Damage | Reload Time in Seconds |
Eva-8 | Shotgun | 8×8 | 8×8 | 8×8 | 2.75/3.0 |
L-Star | LMG | 24 | 19 | 16 | 2.45 |
R-99 | SMG | 16 | 13 | 10 | 1.8/2.45 |
Nemesis | Assault Rifle | 22 | 17 | 13 | 2.7 |
Rampage | LMG | 36 | 29 | 25 | 3.2/4 |
Eva-8
Eva-8 opens our apex season 24 tier list of weapon. This shotgun is currently one of the strongest weapons in the game. Thanks to the Boosted Loader hop-up, it reloads instantly upon breaking shields, making it practically "broken" in terms of balance. If you need absolute domination in close-range combat, the Eva-8 is the best shotgun this season.

L-Star
Thanks to recent buffs and reduced TTK (time to kill), the L-Star LMG can literally wipe out an entire squad in seconds. If you shoot carefully, you almost won't need to reload. The large projectile size also makes it forgiving, even for players with less-than-perfect accuracy.

R-99
R-99 is finally back from the Care Package and is as deadly as ever. It requires precision due to its high recoil and rapid fire rate, but the reward is one of the fastest TTK (Time-To-Kill) in the game. At close range, if you hit your target, victory is almost guaranteed.

Nemesis
Nemesis is one of the most unique weapons in Apex Legends. Although it is not fully automatic, its four-shot burst mechanics accelerate the longer you shoot, effectively turning it into a laser gun. Unlike other burst rifles that can feel clunky, Nemesis rewards continuous fire, making it one of the best options for medium range.

Rampage
Rampage has always been a strong but situational weapon, and in the 24th season, it shines again. What makes this LMG special is its accelerated firing mode, which can be activated with a Thermite Grenade. Once charged, Rampage fires significantly faster, making it extremely powerful.

A-Tier Weapons in Apex Legends
Weapon Name | Weapon Type/Class | Head Damage | Body Damage | Leg Damage | Reload Time in Seconds |
Mastiff | Shotgun | 16×6 | 16×6 | 16×6 | 0.9 per shell / 1.6 per shell |
Flatline | Assault Rifle | 25 | 19 | 14 | 2.4/3.1 |
G7 Scout | Marksman | 56 | 35 | 26 | 2.16/2.7 |
Hemlok | Assault Rifle | 26 | 20 | 15 | 2.0/2.6 |
R-301 | Assault Rifle | 18 | 14 | 11 | 2.4/3.2 |
Spitfire | LMG | 25 | 19 | 15 | 3.4/4.2 |
Wingman | Pistol | 72 | 48 | 43 | 2.1/1.4 |
Mastiff
Mastiff is a powerful close-quarters shotgun with a horizontal spread. Its main advantage over other shotguns is stability. You don't need to rely on a perfect headshot, as with the Peacekeeper. With its widespread, the Mastiff allows for reliable hits, even while moving or hip-firing. That's one of apex best weapons of A-tier.

Flatline
Flatline remains one of the most reliable assault rifles in Apex Legends for many seasons, and the 24th season is no exception. This heavy assault rifle has a slower fire rate compared to the R-301 but compensates with higher damage per shot.

G7 Scout
What makes the G7 Scout so effective is its ability to keep enemies under constant pressure from a safe distance. With proper positioning and a good scope, you can keep firing at enemies without using too much ammo. However, this weapon is not suitable for close combat, so it should be paired with a good SMG or shotgun.

Hemlok
Among all Apex Legends best guns 2025 Hemlok remains stable, although it hasn't received significant buffs or nerfs. It is not a dominant weapon in the meta but remains a decent choice for those who enjoy burst fire. Its main drawback is poor hip-fire accuracy, making it less effective at close range. That's

R-301
R-301 is one of the most versatile and stable rifles in Apex Legends. It has low recoil, high accuracy, and a fast fire rate, making it a favorite weapon for many players. Whether you're fighting at close, medium, or even long ranges, the R-301 always performs excellently.

Spitfire
In the 24th season, Spitfire remains a powerful weapon due to the reduced TTK (time to kill) and overall damage increase in many weapons. Its large magazine allows for prolonged firing, making it an excellent option for team fights.

Wingman
Wingman is a high-risk, high-reward weapon that has been a player favorite for years. It has one of the highest damage-per-shot stats in the game, and skilled players can completely dominate with it. And this weapon closes our list of Apex Legends best guns season 24, because next guns would be less useful.

B-Tier Weapons in Apex Legends
Weapon Name | Weapon Type/Class | Head Damage | Body Damage | Leg Damage | Reload Time in Seconds |
30-30 | Marksman | 69-93 | 43-58 | 37-49 | 0.33 |
Longbow | Sniper | 108 | 60 | 42 | 2.66/3.66 |
Prowler | SMG | 19 | 16 | 13 | 2.0/2.6 |
Volt | SMG | 19 | 15 | 12 | 1.44/2.03 |
Sentinel | Sniper | 140/176 | 70/88 | 63/79 | 2.5/3.6 |
Charge Rifle | Sniper | 135-196 | 75-110 | 53-77 | 3.5/4.6 |
30-30
The 30-30 Repeater has historically not been the best choice, but changes in the 24th season have made it one of the most effective marksman rifles in the game. This weapon offers high damage per shot, accuracy, and efficient ammunition use, making it a great option for medium range.

Longbow
Longbow has long been a sniper favorite, offering solid damage at medium range and a high fire rate for its class. In Season 24, after helmets were removed from the game, headshots became even more dangerous, making Longbow a very reliable choice for dealing damage at a distance.

Prowler
Prowler is a very reliable weapon on its own, but with the Selectfire Receiver hop-up, it becomes a true monster. The automatic mode makes it one of the best weapons for close combat. Even without Selectfire, its burst fire is dense enough to quickly take down enemies.

Volt
Volt has long remained one of the most stable SMGs in Apex Legends, and in Season 24, this hasn't changed. It has low recoil, excellent accuracy, and high DPS, making it one of the best options for close combat in the early and mid-game.

Sentinel
Sentinel is a powerful long-range sniper option with a charging mechanic that can significantly boost its lethality. However, its slow fire rate and long reload time make it a risky but effective weapon in the right hands.

Charge Rifle
Charge Rifle is one of the most unique sniper rifles in Apex Legends, resembling an energy cannon more than a traditional bullet weapon. Instead of firing a projectile, it deals damage with a beam, making it the easiest sniper rifle to hit targets with. However, despite its excellent long-range capabilities, this weapon has significant drawbacks in other aspects.

C-Tier Weapons in Apex Legends
Weapon Name | Weapon Type/Class | Head Damage | Body Damage | Leg Damage | Reload Time in Seconds |
C.A.R. | SMG | 17 | 14 | 9 | 1.7/2.13 |
Triple Take | Marksman | 35×3 | 22×3 | 20×3 | 2.34/3.06 |
Akimbo Mozambique | Shotgun | 20×3 | 16×3 | 16×3 | 1.9s/2.4s |
C.A.R.
C.A.R. performs well in early game stages as it can use both types of ammunition and doesn't require additional modifications to be effective. However, in the late game, other SMGs like the R-99 or Volt may be better choices due to more stable control.

Triple Take
One of Triple Take's biggest advantages is its versatility. Unlike most marksman rifles, this weapon works well even in close combat if you hit with all three projectiles. Thanks to the Precision Choke mechanic, you can narrow the projectile spread, making Triple Take a powerful weapon for medium ranges if used correctly.

Akimbo Mozambique
Mozambique has always been considered a meme weapon, but in the 24th season, Akimbo Mozambique has become a completely different beast. Using the dual version, these two shotguns fire incredibly fast, allowing for instant takedowns of enemies at close range.
However, Akimbo Mozambique has several weaknesses. Firstly, it quickly consumes ammo, so you need to always have a stock of shotgun shells. Secondly, it is almost useless at medium and long ranges, making it a risky weapon that requires an aggressive playstyle.

D-Tier Weapons in Apex Legends
Weapon Name | Weapon Type/Class | Head Damage | Body Damage | Leg Damage | Reload Time in Seconds |
Alternator | SMG | 22 | 18 | 14 | 1.9/2.23 |
Devotion | LMG | 20 | 16 | 13 | 2.8/3.63 |
Akimbo P2020 | Pistol | 30 | 24 | 14 | 1.25 |
RE-45 | Pistol | 18 | 14 | 14 | 1.5/1.95 |
Alternator
The Alternator SMG is known as one of the most stable and easiest-to-use SMGs in Apex Legends. It has a slow but steady fire rate, low recoil, and excellent hip-fire accuracy, making it a great choice early in the game.

Devotion
Devotion LMG is a true monster when it spins up to full speed, providing one of the highest DPS in the game. However, to unlock its full potential, a Turbocharger is necessary. Without it, the spin-up delay makes this weapon unreliable in quick skirmishes.

Akimbo P2020
In previous seasons, the P2020 was often considered the worst weapon in the game, and it remains so, albeit with some improvements thanks to the Akimbo mode. Using two P2020s simultaneously, you can quickly unleash a barrage of bullets, turning this once-useless pistol into a close-range monster.

RE-45
RE-45 has always been a rapid-fire alternative to SMGs, but without Hammerpoint Rounds, it has lost much of its former power. In the 24th season, the RE-45 remains a decent backup weapon, but it doesn't stand out in any category and is outperformed by most other options.
