You can have up to 5 spells in your arsenal: two of them are attack spells, two are support spells, and one is a one-time spell that disappears from your ability bar after you use it. The first thing the player who controls it will have to do is not only choose a landing spot, but also land successfully by targeting a bunch of mobs or one elite mob. This way, you can gain a little experience right from the start, which will speed up your transition to the second level. This will not necessarily give you an advantage over other players, as competent players have been using this technique for a long time. But this way you can at least keep up with others.

When selecting a landing zone, you should pay attention to the zone with a smaller number of players. This will help you avoid competition for mobs, experience, and spells. In addition, you won't have to face other players and engage in PvP at the beginning of the game if you don't want to.

Character leveling

One of the main goals of your team is to farm. This should be done constantly in order not to lose the pace of the game and keep up with other players. The main elements of character leveling are the character's level and the availability of higher-level abilities. You can get a new level by killing mobs, enemy characters, and collecting plunder, which gives you experience and is converted into glory points. With each level, you improve your health and damage, which is important for the later stages of the game. The most significant element will be collecting abilities and building a certain team strategy based on different builds.

Abilities drop with a certain degree of probability after killing mobs, are guaranteed to drop from elite mobs, other players, and from chests other than gold. The first mob you kill is also bound to drop a spell. By the way, here's a hint: if after killing the first mob you see that the ability is not very interesting to you or is not needed at all, then do not pick it up. Just kill another mob and get another guaranteed ability that might be better. In general, this trick can be used to your advantage. By farming several enemies without picking up scrolls from them, you can knock out several spells at once and level them up to the desired level at the beginning of the game. As they say, it's not a lot, but a feature.

If the location of your landing was successful, you may also come across high rarity chests, where you can also find good spells of a higher level or gain experience from them. Also, remember that all the plunder your allies collect counts towards your score.

Whether to engage in PvP or not

Interacting with enemy players in Plunderstorm depends on what your main goal is. If your goal is to farm experience points to get the maximum level of fame and collect all the rewards, but you are not good at PvP fights, then it is best to avoid them until the last possible moment. That's why we recommended choosing a zone with the smallest number of players at the beginning of the game. Basically, try to just farm mobs and chests. 

To avoid unnecessary clashes, look around so that you are not suddenly ambushed. Use appropriate skills to escape or slow down enemies and save your allies. To do this, use control or escape spells, if available. The best ones are: Fade to Shadow, which teleports you forward in the direction you are looking and grants you invisibility; Faeform, which gives you extra movement speed and resistance to debuffs; Quaking Leap, which makes a jump over a fairly long distance. 

If you are already a more experienced player or plan to compete with other people, then it makes more sense to participate in PvP. Provided that you have a set of at least some good abilities that will help you kill enemy heroes. After all, if you don't have any attacking abilities, or they are of a low level, you are unlikely to win a duel. 

You don't have to wait for someone to attack you if you initiate the fight yourself. Provided you have spells that will help you quickly approach your opponents, ambush them, or have good control so that they don't have time to escape.

Together you stand

Don't forget to use Health Brew to restore your health. When playing Plunderstorm trios, be sure to keep an eye on your teammates. If one of them dies, you can pick them up, and they will return to the game. Don't neglect this, as they will be able to help you later on. However, keep an eye on the arena field. If the body of your friend is in the storm zone, it will be very dangerous to go back for him. It's not worth the risk in this situation.

Essential Plunderstorm trio skills

Adding a third player to Plunderstorm allows you to develop more winning strategies for this battle royale, mainly due to the different skills and their implementation. With more people in the team, additional control or damage abilities can be combined with each other, which means team battles can be more entertaining and fun. 

For a winning team strategy in WoW Plunderstorm, good and effective skills are required. Fire Whirl is considered one of the strongest abilities in the game. It deals a lot of damage to enemies, and while it is active, the whirl can be controlled, and the hero's movement speed becomes slightly faster. Such an easy-to-use skill will help you easily attack enemies and farm groups of mobs quickly enough. 

Hunter's Chains is a great companion to it, allowing you to bind to an enemy and reduce the distance to them. Thanks to this, after approaching the enemy hero, you can immediately use the whirlwind and deal additional damage with the Searing Axe. And your allies will help you with control abilities if your victim is alone, or they will take over your target's allies so that they do not save them or kill you.

Mana Sphere, Holy Shield, Storm Archon, and Star Bomb can deal a lot of damage if they are executed well. Windstorm is a great match for them, as it will help keep enemies in place for a little longer due to temporary stunning. During the time the enemy is inactive, you can use these targeted abilities on them to maximize their effectiveness. Otherwise, the enemy will be able to dodge them quite easily, especially if they have some kind of life-saving mobile skill. Earthbreaker is also suitable for additional control, but it is not easy to implement it in PvP, as the spell's cast time is long, and it also imposes a slow on you.

The right trio positioning tactics in Plunderstorm during a battle can help you win duels. If you have a fake chest on your team, you can lure your opponents and attack them by surprise. However, this strategy is not always possible to implement quickly. The combination of Fade to Shadow or Quaking Leap along with control abilities will help you quickly and suddenly approach the victim. Steel Traps, Snowdrift, and Explosive Caltrops are effective due to their good range, which allows you to easily use them on opponents. 

Repel and Lightning Bulwark are useful for the teammate who decides to become a tank and stun enemies with their abilities so that the other two can attack.
