Blizzard has now revealed Overwatch 2 × Persona 5 as its Season 18 crossover. The Phantom Thieves event is to run from September 16 to 30, 2025. There are exclusive cosmetics and challenges to expect and Persona 5-themed skins inspired by the legendary JRPG.

Available Skins

As part of the collaboration, Overwatch 2 introduced five legendary skins based on the main Phantom Thieves characters from Persona 5:

• Mercy takes on the style of Panther (Ann).
• Genji wears the Skull (Ryuji) outfit.
• D.Va is represented as Queen (Makoto).
• Lifeweaver adopts the Fox look.
• Wuyang becomes the prototype for Joker.

These skins capture the Persona 5 atmosphere through colors, outfits, and animations while keeping the distinct traits of Overwatch heroes.

Other Cosmetics

In addition to legendary skins, players can unlock various themed items:

• new highlight intros,
• voice lines,
• name cards and player icons,
• a free Morgana spray and weapon charm.

Some rewards can only be obtained by completing special challenges during the event.

How to Earn Rewards

To unlock free cosmetics, players must complete daily and weekly event-specific challenges. Legendary skins are available for purchase in the in-game Overwatch shop using premium currency.
