Logur the Beast Claw is an optional boss, or rather a mini-boss, that can be found in Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree. He is mostly interesting for one reason only, as he drops a weapon that you might be interested in.
Logur, the Beast Claw Location
This NPC boss roams the forests southeast of the first place of grace you'll visit in the DLC, namely Gravesite Plain. If you don't see him directly, expect him to attack you from the bushes, so always be on the lookout.
How to defeat Logur, the Beast Claw
There really isn't any special build or tactic to defeat Logur, the Beast Claw. This NPC is virtually no different from most of the regular humanoid or anthropomorphic creatures you'll encounter throughout the game. The only exceptions are his slightly higher health and his unique ability due to the claw weapons on his hands.
Your main task in battle is to roll backwards or run away in time as soon as Logur, the Beast Claw starts swinging his claws like Wolverine, because then he can deliver a series of strong blows.
In other cases, everything is simple. As soon as the moment presents itself, attack Logur with your weapon or ability. Keep in mind that, like most human NPCs, this enemy can use flasks to restore his health, and he can also roll and jump back to dodge your attacks.
Logur is practically naked, meaning that he is not wearing armour, and therefore has lower defence values, which allows you to deal a lot of damage with good buffs or status effects, such as bleeding. However, the boss is dangerous due to his agility from the ability and sudden jumps, which can cause you to suffer a bleed status yourself.
Reward for killing Logur, the Beast Claw
Once you defeat Logur, the Beast Claw, you will receive 3,000 runes and his Beast Claw weapon. To use this weapon, you need 13 Strength and 11 Dexterity. The strength of this weapon scales with these stats. The main skill of the weapon is Savage Claws. It allows you to perform the same swings as the boss during the fight with him.
