In the game Indiana Jones And The Great Circle, during the mission The Stolen Cat Mummy, you will encounter an intriguing trial puzzle — Gold Path Trial Puzzle. This puzzle is located in the dungeon, and completing its tasks will open the path forward. In this guide, we will break down how to successfully complete this puzzle step-by-step.
Step One: Familiarizing Yourself with the Main Room
Upon entering the dungeon, you will immediately see two statues with a lever between them. This lever will be the final point of the puzzle, activating the path to the next stage.
Step Two: The First Passage and Chains
Turn left from the main room. You will find a passage where two chains are located on the walls. Pull each of them to activate the first mechanisms of the puzzle.
Step Three: Using the Lasso and Columns
After activating the chains, return to the main room. Look at the wall where a beam will be hanging. Use the lasso to hook onto it and pull yourself up.
At this stage, pay attention to the hanging columns. One of them is marked with white paint — this is a signal that you can jump onto it. Make the jump and cling to the column.
Step Four: Crossing Through the Wall Hole
When you land on the column, it will start moving to the right towards the hole in the wall. Wait for a hooking point for the lasso to appear above the hole, and use it to pull yourself up.
After this, you will see a hole in the floor. Jump down to proceed to the next stage.
Final Stage: Activating the Chains and Lever
Once in the new area, find two additional chains and pull them. This will complete the activation of the mechanism.
The third chain, located in the same room, will open the gate leading back to the main room. Return there and press the lever located in the middle between the statues.
