The streamlined operation of all processes in Schedule 1 is a direct path to comfortable and rapid drug production at every stage. This will allow you to maximize supply and earn more revenue much faster.
The main element that opens access to employee management and process optimization is the Management Clipboard, which allows you to assign employees to their positions and more. Here you'll learn how to obtain and use the Management Clipboard in Schedule 1.
How to Unlock the Management Clipboard
Before you begin managing employees, you need to reach the Hoodlum V level in the storyline campaign. At this stage, access to the Illegal Warehouse — a grimy location where you'll meet Manny the Fixer — becomes available. Manny sells not only ingredients and weapons but also provides workers for your drug empire.

To hire a worker, you'll need cash — cryptocurrency won't work here. Fortunately, there's an ATM inside the warehouse, so even if you didn't bring cash, you can always withdraw some. After hiring your first worker, you will automatically receive the Management Clipboard in Schedule 1, allowing you to manage employees.

How to Use the Management Clipboard in Schedule 1
Using the Clipboard is simple. By default, it is bound to the number 9 key. Press 9, and your character will pull out the Clipboard. Then approach any employee and press the interaction key (usually E) while looking at them. This will open the management interface for that specific worker. You can now assign beds, workstations, and more.

Why You Need to Use the Management Clipboard in Schedule 1
Assigning Beds to Employees
Each employee needs a bed. Without it, they won't work at all. When the management menu opens, click on the bed section and choose an available sleeping spot. Make sure there's cash near the bed — that's their daily wage. Without it, the employee will strike faster than you can look around.
It's wise to place beds as close to workstations as possible — this will reduce travel time and improve overall productivity.

Assigning Workstations by Role
Each type of worker has its function, and the Clipboard allows you to assign them the appropriate equipment:
- Cleaners work with trash bins
- Botanists handle grow tents and supply shelves
- Chemists work with ovens and chemical stations
- Handlers manage packing zones and storage warehouses
Each role has its limits. For example, botanists can service up to eight tents, chemists up to three stations, and handlers can manage up to five routes and three packing stations. To assign stations, select the Assigned Stations option in the clipboard menu and click on the relevant equipment.

Setting Up Routes and Destinations
Handlers are the heart of your operation's automation. They don't just stand around — they can be assigned routes between specific points, such as moving products from loading docks to storage shelves, or from shelves to packing stations. They have up to five routes, allowing for precise logistics setup.
To create a route, click on the pencil icon next to the handler's assignment. Then select a departure point and a destination in your warehouse. This will allow you to fully automate both resource delivery and product packaging — the key to scaling.

Managing Stations for Maximum Efficiency
The Clipboard allows you to manage not just people but equipment itself. You can set up pots by choosing the type of seeds and additives. You can also set thresholds for mixing stations so they only process large batches. Packing stations can be directed to specific shelves for storing finished products.
These settings are crucial if you want to run multiple production lines simultaneously. They relieve you from constant oversight and allow employees to work autonomously.

Creating an Efficient System
Efficiency in Schedule 1 is based on specialization and synergy. Ideally, each stash focuses on one type of product. Currently, cocaine is the most profitable, but the main principle remains the same: botanists or chemists create the product, handlers move and pack it, and cleaners maintain order.
Without the Management Clipboard, it would be a logistical disaster. But with it, you can build a production chain that requires almost no involvement from you — as long as everyone gets paid and has a bed.

Final Tips
Check daily for money near the beds. Keep a reserve to avoid work stoppages. Don't overload a single handler or chemist — allocate resources wisely. And most importantly, regularly check routes and assignments to ensure no part of your drug empire is left hanging.

When the Clipboard is working as it should, your only real job is ordering supplies and collecting money. If everything runs like clockwork — congratulations: you've gone from a small-time dealer to a true business kingpin, with a clipboard in hand.
