Sniper Elite: Resistance offers players multiple starting locations for missions, allowing for diverse tactical approaches. However, these starting points must be unlocked by performing certain in-game actions such as lighting fires or unlocking gates. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for unlocking all starting locations across missions.

Mission 2: Dead Drop

• Scafford Yard: After sneaking over/under the wall, stick to the left side of the map. A blue eye icon will appear on the map near a blue door next to scaffolding. Pick the lock to unlock this starting location. Be prepared to fight enemies until you achieve an "All Clear."
• Citadel Apartments: Follow the road to the top left of the map and take a left after the second house. A blue eye icon will appear. Pick the lock of the blue door at this location to unlock it.

Mission 3: Sonderzuge Sabotage

• Signal Box: After crossing the right bridge, descend the first set of stairs and unlock the gate to reveal this starting location.
• Parkview Apartments: Travel north over the left bridge from the default start. Take the second right, follow the alleyways, and unlock the room in the top right corner of the building.

Mission 4: Collision Course

• Dam Lookout: Use a zipline at the start of the mission and proceed to the top of the map. Locate the campsite near the dam and light a fire.
• Power Station: Cross the dam to the right side, locate a locked gate near a small house, and unlock it.

Mission 5: Devil’s Cauldron

• Quarry Lake: Move right from the default starting point. Locate netting near a lake, climb it, and light a campfire.
• Coastal Landing: Travel to the top of the map using the roads leading to lower ground. Unlock a gate to access this starting point.

Mission 6: Assault on Fort Rouge

• Breached Wall: Head north through a checkpoint, deal with a tank encounter, and follow the road to the right. Locate the rubble near an AA gun.
• Checkpoint Cabin: Near the exfiltration point in the top left corner of the map, unlock a blue door to access this location.

Mission 7: Lock, Stock, and Barrels

• Windmill: Eliminate snipers as part of a side objective. Visit the windmill and light the ground-floor campfire.
• Western Farmhouse: Follow the main road to the opposite side of the windmill. Unlock the gate between a house and a shed.

Mission 8: End of the Line

• Bombed Factory: Follow the leftmost rail in the railyard until you find a large blue building. Light a fire in front of it.
• Eastern Railyard: Travel to the top right of the map. Near the bridge with multiple arches, find and light a campfire after the sniper's nest.

Unlocking these locations will provide strategic advantages, allowing players to complete objectives and Kill List Challenges more efficiently.
