To gain access to businesses in Schedule 1 and start the money laundering process, you must complete a storyline quest first. In the quest, you receive sufficient money, which can then be laundered through businesses. Only after you complete the story mission can you purchase businesses like the Laundromat and use them to launder money and keep progressing in the game.

Purchasing the Laundromat

To start the money laundering process, you first need to purchase a Laundromat. You can purchase it from Ray's Real Estate for $4,000. The business plays a significant role in legitimizing funds.

Running the Laundromat

After you've purchased the Laundromat, enter the building through the back door. You'll see a computer inside, where you can launder money. There's a restriction, however — you can only launder $2,000 at once, and it takes a few in-game hours. The laundered cash is provided as electronic funds, which you can access through ATMs.

Using Laundered Money

Laundered money allows you to buy bigger and more expensive items in the game, such as cars, barns, etc. But to purchase businesses and start laundering money, you first need to complete the storyline quest and accumulate enough cash.

Purchasing Other Businesses
