Fellow farmers in Roblox’s Grow A Garden can now pollinate crops themselves! Pollinated is a type of mutation that, when applied to crops, can be used to trade for Honey or sold with multiplied value. Previously, farmers needed to rely only on the bee swarm and pets to get a random pollination mutation. But with the addition of Pollination Mutation Spray, you can apply the mutation to any fruit you desire!

The Pollination Mutation Spray is a new tool introduced during the Working Bees update. To get this tool, you have to submit materials and wait for 5 minutes. With the mutation spray in hand, you can go ahead and pollinate any plant of choice!

How to Craft the Pollination Mutation Spray

Step 1: Head to the Crafting station

Make your way to the “CRAFTING” station at the center of the island and interact with the tool station - the one with the Bee Bear. There, you can access a list of craftable new tools, including brand new sprinklers, sprays, and the Anti-Bee Egg.

Step 2: Craft the Pollination Mutation Spray

Click on the “Mutation Spray Pollinated” listing and press “Craft” to bring out the recipe display. You will need x1 Cleaning Spray, x1 Bee Balm, and x25 Honey to craft a single-use Pollinated Mutation Spray.

You can purchase the Cleaning Spray in the Gear Shop for 15 million Sheckles. It is among the tools that are always in stock, so you can expect to purchase it anytime. 

The Bee Balm can be crafted at the seed station using x1 Crocus, x1 Lavender, and x10 Honey. The Crocus is one of the common plants in the Craft Seed Pack - which is also obtained by crafting at the seed station. You can purchase Lavender seeds by trading Honey with the Queen Bee. 

TIP: If you are short on materials, you can ask your friends or the generous Grow A Garden community for extras. You can also join the Grow A Garden Discord server to get real-time notifications of new seed and gear stocks! This way, you don’t have to be logged on all the time to be alerted to the stock rotations.

If you’re not up for the grind, you can also pay 179 Robux to skip all the materials and begin crafting immediately. 

Step 3: Wait for crafting to finish

After submitting all the required materials for the Pollination Mutation Spray, you'll need to wait 5 minutes for the crafting process to complete. This is a relatively short wait compared to other crafting times. Once the 5 minutes are up, simply return to the station to claim your spray.

How to Use the Pollination Mutation Spray

With the Pollination Mutation Spray in hand, approach the specific fruit you want to pollinate. Keep in mind that the spray affects only one fruit or crop, not the entire plant, and it is single-use, so use it carefully to avoid wasting it.

To apply the spray, move close to the target until the fruit is highlighted in an orange outline. Once highlighted, tap anywhere to activate the spray. The fruit will immediately turn yellow, indicating that the pollination mutation has been successfully applied!
