Scorpion from Mortal Kombat has appeared in the Battle Royale arena in Fortnite, adding an exciting twist to Chapter 6 Season 2. Alongside him comes the long-awaited Scorpion's Kombat Kit — a powerful melee weapon capable of executing devastating combos, fiery finishers, and dominating close encounters. If you want to acquire this artifact, you'll need to act swiftly, be prepared, and know where to look to outpace your rivals.
Where to Find Scorpion in Fortnite
Scorpion appears in only one location per match, and this location is randomly chosen from three new arenas inspired by Mortal Kombat settings, added in patch v34.21.
- The Pit, located east of Shining Span, near Overlook Lighthouse and Salty Docks.

- The Living Forest, hidden between Whiffy Wharf and Flooded Frogs in the location where Sleepwalker’s Peril used to be.

- Dead Pool, an underground arena beneath Masked Meadows, below Masked Motorway Bank.

To determine where he has spawned in the current match, stay on the battle bus a bit longer. Wait for the Scorpion medallion icon to appear on the map — this indicates his exact position. Once you see it, mark it and land there immediately. Remember, other players will also be trying to get there as quickly as possible.

How to Start the Boss Fight with Scorpion in Fortnite
When you reach the correct arena, look for a large gong. Strike it to activate the boss fight and summon Scorpion to the center of the arena. Be ready — as soon as he appears, the battle starts immediately without warning.

How to Defeat Scorpion Fast
Scorpion is a true melee monster with a massive health pool and powerful attacks. His fiery breath and spear throw can catch you off guard, especially in tight arenas like The Pit. To deal with him quickly, prepare in advance: full shields, an assault rifle or SMG, and several magazines of ammo. Avoid melee combat if possible — Scorpion is ruthless in this regard.

Keep your distance and stay mobile. His main attacks include a fiery blast if you're far away; a spear throw that pulls you towards him; and devastating strikes if you get too close. Use the arena's advantages, and if other players appear nearby, let them deal damage to him, then finish him off yourself.
How to Get the Scorpion Kombat Kit in Fortnite
After defeating Scorpion, he drops several epic items: a mythic version of his Kombat Kit (fiery gloves), the First Blood medallion, an epic assault rifle Collateral Damage, and a legendary Chug Jug.

The mythic Scorpion set deals 25 damage with punches, 20 with fire, and 45 with the spear that pulls enemies. This version has no durability limit, so you can use it throughout the match.
If you couldn't find or defeat Scorpion — don't worry. The epic version of the Kombat Kit can be found in the arena where he didn't spawn or in chests. It has purple rarity, deals slightly less damage — 20 with punches, 15 with fire, and 40 with the spear. However, it has limited durability and will break over time.
Rarity Type | Epic | Mythic |
Punch Attack | 20 | 25 |
Fiery Breath Attack | 15 | 20 |
Throwing Spear Attack | 40 | 45 |
Besides the boss fight, players can find both versions of the Scorpion set in Fortnite from enemies. If the item glows gold — it's the mythic version. If purple — it's the epic.

How to Get the First Blood Medallion
This medallion only drops after defeating Scorpion. Its effect activates on the first shot from a full magazine — it causes an explosion on hit. But if you miss the first bullet, you'll need to reload to get the effect again. It's not the most powerful medallion in the game, but with accurate weapons, it can be very effective.
