How to Enter Volcanic Depths

Upon appearing in the Forgotten Kingdom, use the cannon to quickly fly to the entrance of the Ruined Cave. Enter the cave and stick to the right side of the tunnels: you need to pass under the DANGER sign and turn into the cave on the right.

You'll find yourself in a small cave with a lower passage leading to Volcanic Depths. If the passage is blocked, you'll need to destroy the Basalt Vein. For this, you'll need a stronger pickaxe to break this type of rock in The Forge. The Lightite pickaxe or better is best suited for this.

Method 1: Use the Demon Race

Players of the demon race in The Forge have a unique advantage: their dash works like a short teleportation. If you position the camera so that even a small part of the space behind the doors is visible, the dash will transport the character through these doors or walls.

The main challenge is finding the right vantage point. You need to gradually move closer until the camera reveals a small area on the other side, then simultaneously jump and dash. It almost never works on the first try, but after a few attempts, the player usually gets inside.

This method is considered the most reliable. So, if you have the demon race, you can confidently try this method. If you don't have the race, use race rerolls until you get the demon.

Method 2: Portal Glitch

Players without the demon race in The Forge can try using another method — based on a portal and a glitch. When a portal appears, there is a brief moment when it is not fully formed, and the character can enter the area of its future space. When the portal is completed, its hitbox pushes the player. If you place the portal right in front of the doors, the push sometimes propels the character not backward but through the obstacle.

You need to place the portal at the very base of the doors, enter the formation point before the animation completes, and add a dash at the moment the portal appears. If done correctly, the combination of push and movement transfers you to the closed room. The method requires practice, and many attempts end with simply hitting the doors, but it's the only alternative for those who don't have the demon race.
