How to fix the Dealer not working in Schedule I
How to fix the Dealer not working in Schedule I

Dealers are a very important part of Schedule I, they are characters that you are going to use to get your Drug andf crime business off the ground, but some players have been encountering some problems with them in the early portions of the game. Stay tuned to this article as we show you how to get your dealers fully operational once again in Schedule I. There is a few easy fixes to this, so don't worry if the first method you try does not succeed.

Restart the game

The first way to fix the dealer not working in Schedule I is to restart the game completely. And we don't just mean pressing the X icon on the app, we mean ensuring the game is not running at all. On many occasions, games, whether that be on Steam or other applications, will be still running their services in the background even if you don't realise it. Let's show you how to restart Schedule I completely:

  1. Close Schedule I
  2. Press the Windows Key to bring up the search bar
  3. Type in "Task Manager"
  4. Locate the Schedule I services
  5. Right click on the icon and press "End Task"
  6. Do this for all Schedule I icons

Clear the cache

Clearing the cache on Steam can also fix Schedule I's dealers not working as they are intended. This is more of a just-try-it-and-see-if-it fixes rather than a guaranteed fix. Most times, clearing the cache has not worked for these in-game issues, but it's worth a try nonetheless. Let's show you how to clear the cache on Steam.

Validate the game files

Validating the Steam files is another method for trying to get your dealers doing what they know best, dealing. This is closer to a fix than clearing the cache, but it's still not a guaranteed fix. To validate the games files, right click of Schedule I in your Steam library, and click on properties at the bottom of the dropdown menu. Click on installed files, and go down to verify integrity of game files.

Taking out the dealer

One of the more likely ways that your dealer is going to return back to a working state in Schedule I is to actually kill them to break the bug loop they are in. While this may seem like a weird measure, it has worked. Don't worry about your dealer not spawning back because they're dead, they will return to work the next day, not even remembering you put a bullet in them twenty four hours earlier. This should reset the dealers and put them back on the inteded course instead of being stuck in a loop.
