Fish It Enchantments Guide: All Enchants and Best Rolls

Enchantments are among the most important upgrades in Fish It. A strong rod is useful on its own, but the right enchant can seriously boost its luck, mutation rate, reeling speed, XP gains, or ability to catch Secret fish.

Each stone is consumed when used, and rerolling replaces the enchant in that slot. That means it’s worth knowing which rolls to keep before burning through your entire stockpile.

This Fish It enchantments guide covers how enchanting works, where to get Enchant Stones, every known enchant effect, the best rolls, Double Enchanting, Perfection, and the smartest reroll strategy.

How to Enchant Rod in Fish It

Travel to Esoteric Island and enter the cave leading to the Esoteric Gatekeeper. Speak to the gatekeeper and pay the 400 Coin elevator fee, then ride the elevator down into the underground chamber. You’ll find the Enchantment Altar beneath the waterfall on the opposite side of the room.

To enchant a rod in Fish It:

  1. Open your inventory.
  2. Equip the fishing rod you want to upgrade.
  3. Hold an Enchant Stone in your hand.
  4. Approach the altar.
  5. Press the interaction key to place the stone.

The stone will be consumed immediately, and your equipped rod will receive a random enchantment. Enchanting works during both the day and night, so you don’t need to worry about using the altar at a specific time.

Be careful when rerolling. Using another Fish It Enchant Stone won’t create an additional standard enchant slot. Instead, it’ll overwrite the enchant currently applied to the rod. The second slot is unlocked separately through the Transcended Stone and Double Enchant system.

How to Get Enchant Stones

Normal Enchant Stones can be caught while fishing in several areas across Fish It. They’re extremely rare, with community sources commonly estimating a base drop rate of around one stone per 2,900 catches.

Although Fish It Enchant Stones can reportedly appear in multiple fishing zones, the Esoteric Depths is generally considered one of the most practical farming spots. Normal stones can also been caught around Fisherman Island, Kohana, the Coral Reefs, the Tropical Grove, and the open ocean.

Enchant Stones can’t normally be purchased with Coins. Players who don’t want to rely entirely on fishing RNG can buy them from the in-game Robux shop. The commonly listed prices are:

Stone
Price
Enchant Stone
29 Robux
Super Enchant Stone
49 Robux

Since standard stones are so rare, avoid wasting them on starter rods you’ll likely replace soon. Save them for a strong mid-game or endgame rod with base stats that are actually worth upgrading.

Fish It Enchant Tier List

Here’s the Fish It enchantments tier list, ranked from the best options in S tier to the least effective ones in C tier based on their effects, rarity, and overall usefulness.

Normal vs Super Enchant Stones

Normal and Super Enchant Stones use different enchant pools.

A Normal Enchant Stone can roll any of the 14 standard Fish It enchantments. This makes Normal Stones useful when you’re looking for a specialized effect, such as XPerienced, Stargazer, Stormhunter, Gold Digger, or Big Hunter.

A Super Enchant Stone can only roll one of five premium standard enchants, each with a 20% chance:

  • Prismatic I
  • Empowered I
  • Leprechaun II
  • Cursed I
  • Mutation Hunter II

Super Stones don’t simply provide “better RNG” across the full standard enchant pool. Instead, they remove the weaker and more situational enchants entirely. This makes them ideal when your only acceptable rolls are Leprechaun II, Mutation Hunter II, Empowered I, Cursed I, or Prismatic I.

Use Normal Stones while you’re still progressing, farming XP, collecting Shiny fish, or building a rod around specific times or weather conditions. Use Super Stones when you’re optimizing a permanent endgame rod and only want one of the five high-value rolls.

Double Enchant and Perfection in Fish It

Every rod starts with one standard enchant slot. To apply a second enchant, players must obtain a Transcended Stone and use the separate Double Enchant Altar associated with the Sacred Temple or Ancient Jungle temple area.

To obtain a Transcended Stone, take a Secret-rarity fish to the Temple Guardian and sacrifice it. After receiving the stone, place it on the pedestal near the guardian to roll a second enchant for your equipped rod.

The second slot doesn’t replace the rod’s first standard enchant. Instead, both effects remain active at the same time. You can also reroll the second enchant, but each attempt requires another Transcended Stone — and therefore another eligible Secret-fish sacrifice.

One of the most desirable Transcended rolls is Perfection. This enchant automatically lands a perfect cast whenever you throw your line. It removes the need to manually time the casting meter and lets you receive the benefits of perfect casts much more consistently.

Some of the best Double Enchant combinations include:

  • Leprechaun II + SECRET Hunter
  • Leprechaun II + Perfection
  • Leprechaun II + Mutation Hunter II
  • Mutation Hunter II + Cursed I
  • Mutation Hunter II + Gold Digger I
  • Empowered I + Perfection
  • Cursed I + Stargazer I
  • Cursed I + Stormhunter I
  • XPerienced I + Leprechaun II

Reroll Strategy for Better Rod Enchants

Don’t reroll every time you catch a single stone. Build up a reasonable stockpile first so one bad roll doesn’t leave your main rod stuck with a weak enchant. Around 15 to 25 Normal Enchant Stones should give you enough attempts for a focused rerolling session.

Your reroll rules should also depend on your current stage of progression.

Early Game

Keep XPerienced I, Leprechaun I, Mutation Hunter I, Empowered I, or either conditional Luck enchant. At this stage, almost any meaningful progression bonus is better than burning every stone while chasing a perfect roll.

Don’t waste a large number of stones on a starter rod. Even a top-tier enchant can’t fully make up for poor base Luck, reeling speed, or rod capacity.

Mid Game

Start replacing low-impact utility rolls with Leprechaun II, Mutation Hunter II, Empowered I, Prismatic I, or an enchant that directly supports your current farming goal.

Keep XPerienced I only while levels still lock meaningful upgrades or locations. Once leveling is no longer your main bottleneck, swap it for a Luck or mutation-focused enchant.

Endgame

Decide what you want the rod to do before you start rolling.

  • For a general-purpose rod, stop on Leprechaun II or Empowered I.
  • For mutation farming, stop on Mutation Hunter II or Cursed I.
  • For Secret-fish hunting, prioritize SECRET Hunter in the advanced slot and pair it with Leprechaun II or another Luck effect.
  • For relaxed or long fishing sessions, keep Perfection—especially when it’s paired with a powerful first-slot enchant.

Only use Super Enchant Stones when you’d genuinely be happy with several results from their five-enchant pool. For example, chasing Leprechaun II is much less painful when Mutation Hunter II or Empowered I would also be solid outcomes.

Don’t reroll an A-tier enchant unless you have enough stones to survive a bad streak. Replacing Empowered I with Glistening I and then running out of stones is far worse than keeping a slightly imperfect but consistently useful roll.

Most importantly, build multiple specialized rods once your resources allow it. A Stormhunter rod for rainy sessions, an XPerienced rod for leveling, and a dedicated mutation rod can be much more effective than constantly overwriting the same enchant whenever your objective changes.

man the key is super stones aren’t “better rng”, they hard-filter the pool so only roll them once your base rod is locked, since every reroll overwrites slot 1
