In this guide for Dynamo, we will cover the following aspects:

  • Strengths and weaknesses of the hero
  • Current build and ability upgrades
  • Best synergies

Guide based on patch 29/09/2024

How to Play Dynamo

You create opportunities on your own. Early in the game, you’ll need to endure a bit, as your hero needs some ability upgrades and a few items. Look for chances to poke enemies. Once you unlock your abilities and get a few items, work with your ally to close in on enemies, as you’ll have enough damage to secure kills—just make sure to land your abilities. When you get your ultimate, lead your team, capture objectives, force advantageous fights, and punish enemies for their positioning. It’s nearly impossible to lose team fights with Dynamo, so don’t be afraid to take the lead and initiate fights—your skill set allows you to do so. Toward the end of the game, you become a powerful tank and support combo, and with a growing advantage, finishing the game should be easy.

Best Synergies and Counters

Best Hero Combinations:

Dynamo + Warden
53.7% win rate
Dynamo + Haze
51.1% win rate
Dynamo + Lady Geist
50.8% win rate

Dynamo is really good with carry kind of characters he can assist (Haze, Lady Geist or Pocket). He is also good with follower characters like Haze, Mo and Krill, Warden or Ivy.

Counters:

1. Ivy

2. Viscous

Ivy’s abilities are able to cancel Singularity or just dodge it. Viscous has his protecting cube for saving his teammate. You can purchase Silencer item to counter Dynamo as well.

Conclusion

In summary, Dynamo is a versatile support hero in *Deadlock* with strong healing, crowd control, and tanking abilities that make him a key player in team fights. His strengths include powerful area control and sustainability, but he relies on proper coordination and has long cooldowns. To maximize Dynamo’s impact, focus on the right build and ability upgrades, and work closely with allies. With the right approach, Dynamo can lead your team to victory, especially in the mid-to-late game.
