Throughout Sanctuary, Altars of Lilith await discovery by players, and since the expansion Vessel of Hatred, Akarat's Teachings have been added as well. These statues provide your characters with permanent bonuses such as Intelligence, Strength, Willpower, Dexterity, or maximum Life. Additional Paragon points or increasing the cap for collectible Obols are also among the extras you receive for activating these sometimes well-hidden shrines. At the same time, with every statue you find, you increase your reputation in the respective region, unlocking additional skill and Paragon points, as well as other minor bonuses.

If you ignore these shrines, you're missing out on immense potential, which becomes crucial in the endgame to hold back the hordes of hell. Visiting each point is an absolute must, even though activating a total of 160 Lilith Shrines and 30 Akarat's Teachings is admittedly a time-consuming task. However, you can save yourself the search for the altars because we have located all the sites for you and marked them on the maps of the respective sub-regions.

By the way, you only need to activate the shrines once. All new characters you create later will also directly benefit from the bonuses. There is one exception: Hardcore characters must collect the statues separately.

All Locations in the Fractured Peaks

The starting area with the capital Kyovashad at its center contains 28 Lilith statues. Once activated, you receive for all characters:

• 12 to Strength
• 12 to Intelligence
• 12 to Dexterity
• 12 to Willpower
• 20 to maximum Obols

All Altars of Lilith in Scosglen

Most of the Lilith statues can be found in Scosglen in the north of Sanctuary. You need to visit 34 locations in this region to gain all the bonuses. In total, you get:

• 20 to Strength
• 14 to Intelligence
• 16 to Dexterity
• 16 to Willpower

All Lilith Statues in the Dry Steppes

Located in the northwest of Sanctuary, the Dry Steppes require you to visit 33 points to permanently receive the following bonuses:

• 12 to Strength
• 18 to Intelligence
• 14 to Dexterity
• 16 to Willpower
• 4 Paragon points

Kehjistan borders the Dry Steppes to the south. Here, you need to collect 31 Altars of Lilith, which grant you the following bonuses:

Locations of Akarat's Teachings in Nahantu

Nahantu is a new area in Sanctuary, introduced with the Vessel of Hatred expansion. It is home to the Spiritborn, where instead of Altars of Lilith, Akarat's Teachings need to be activated. There are 30 in total, and finding them all not only boosts your reputation in the area but also grants you a new mount, the "Reins of the Nahantu Lion."

What if you can't reach some shrines?

Be aware, not all Altars of Lilith are readily accessible. Like some dungeons, certain shrines must first be unlocked by completing specific quests in the main story or by conquering strongholds. If you can't reach a particular location, check if you're missing a quest or a stronghold.
