GD Studio has announced early access to its project Diabotical Rogue. This is a first-person PvP shooter that features dynamic gameplay with smooth controls and the ability to play in 4v4 or 16v16 player teams. The project contains elements of the Roguelike game subgenre and the dynamic gameplay of Quake, Team Fortress 2, and Overwatch.

The studio has published a trailer dedicated to the game's early access and also shared plans for the game's ongoing development. In particular, they expect to see the reaction and feedback from players, what they like and what they don't. The GD Studios team plans to expand the game and introduce new cosmetic costumes, more different upgrades, and bring the game closer to the MOBA genre.

Among the game's developers are many professional players of the Quake series, as well as some other eSports disciplines. For example, the creation of a new MOBA mode called Project One Shot involved legends and veterans of Counter-Strike, namely Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund and Adam "friberg" Friberg.

The game also features a map editor, which allows players to create their own maps using the potential of the built-in tools. In addition to the usual map creation feature, you can also play the game in the user lobby. The development team is planning to add several new features that will improve the creativity of players, including training and a full-fledged Wiki page.

The development roadmap has not been published yet, but the studio hopes to enlist the support of players to help guide the game in the right direction, making it interesting and fun.

The game is already available on Steam or the Epic Game Store for $19.99 (regional prices apply), but currently there is a discount, so the game is available for $14.99.
