Call of Duty Warzone Clash LTM Explained

Clash is a limited-time game mode in Call of Duty: Warzone, returning as part of Season 4. It’s designed as a large-scale 52v52 team battle, similar to Team Deathmatch but set in open areas with a time limit.

Key Rules and Objectives

Each match lasts 15 minutes. Two teams compete to reach 500 points first. Points are earned through kills, completing contracts, capturing control points, and opening special crates. A unique feature of this mode is the complete absence of circle collapse — combat is restricted to a specific area of the map.

Battle Locations

Clash takes place on the familiar map of Verdansk, but only in specific sections. Common combat zones include Quarry, Boneyard, Farmland, and Promenade East. This allows players to focus on tactical play in well-defined environments.

Clash Scoring System

  • 1 point per enemy kill
  • 2 points for a kill with the Double Down bonus active
  • 5 points for completing a contract
  • 10 points for capturing a control point
  • 10 points for opening a special crate

This scoring system encourages both aggressive combat and objective-focused team play.

Available Contracts and Gear

Clash features various contract types: Scavenger, Recon, and Search and Destroy — the latter making its debut in this mode. Players can also use five types of combat upgrades, which spawn randomly across the map. Available vehicles include trucks, light vehicles, helicopters, and Polaris RZRs.

Unique Clash Features

In addition to seasonal items, Clash introduces five exclusive features, two of which will later appear in other game modes:

  • Door Barricade (Field Upgrade) Allows players to place blocking barriers on single or double doors, effectively hindering enemy movement. Initially exclusive to Clash, it will be added to other modes mid-season.
  • Hand Cannon (Killstreak) A powerful close-range weapon with low fire rate, high hip-fire accuracy, and limited ammo. Found in rare stashes and set to be added to BR and Plunder in the future.
  • SAM Turrets For $1500 in-game cash, players can activate anti-air missile batteries that attack planes and UAVs up to four times.
  • Loot Train A large train may appear on a circular railway track in Clash, containing valuable loot and serving as mobile cover.
  • UAV Towers For $2000, players can activate a UAV tower that reveals enemy movements in a surrounding area. Towers can be captured and strategically used to control territory.

New Season 4 Content in Clash

Clash will be the first mode where players can try out some of Season 4’s new features, including:

  • Loot Master perk – increases rewards from crates
  • Door Barricade – field upgrade
  • Hand Cannon – killstreak weapon
  • Search and Destroy – new contract type

These items will be introduced into the core game modes later in the season.

Who Should Play Clash?

Clash is perfect for players looking to level up weapons quickly, thanks to intense action and fast respawns. It also suits those who enjoy nonstop combat without the slow prep phases typical of Battle Royale. If you're seeking something fresh within Warzone without diving into the classic modes, Clash is a compelling alternative. It’s also a great training ground for improving shooting skills, testing new weapons, and practicing team coordination.

When is Clash Available?

Clash will go live on May 29, 2025, alongside the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4. It’s a limited-time event, so make sure to try it before the season ends.
