But first, what is a wonderkid?
Wonderkids in Football Manager 2024
Wonderkids are best classified as rising stars in Football Manager 2024. They are potential talents in Football Manager 2024 who, while not guaranteed to become world-beaters, can become some of the best players in the game.
Although the existence of dynamic potential in Football Manager 2024 can be a limiting factor to the growth of these top youth talents in FM24, the right training and exposure to match experience can still make them very strong.
Understanding dynamic potential in Football Manager 2024
Dynamic potential in Football Manager 2024 is a mechanic integrated into the game in order to give a sense of randomness across multiple save files.
In previous Football Manager games, the potential ability (PA) of the top-rated youth players in Football Manager was locked to a value between 0 and 200. With dynamic potential, the PA of these players can exist within ranges that are randomised upon the start of a game.
The ranges are as follows:
- 10 (170-200)
- 95 (160-190)
- 9 (150-180)
- 85 (140-170)
- 8 (130-160)
- 75 (120-150)
- 7 (110-140)
This continues all the way down to -1 in the same fashion. Because of this dynamic potential, some of these young talents in Football Manager 2024 aren’t guaranteed to be elite in every save file, so make sure you scout players before buying and keep a tracker on wonderkids in your Football Manager 2024 game
The best wonderkid Left Wingers in Football Manager 2024:
Mikey Moore
Kicking off our list of the best wonderkid Left Wingers in Football Manager 2024 is Tottenham Hotspur’s Mikey Moore. A relatively unknown player, Moore is the youngest player in any of our Football Manager wonderkids guides.
Due to his age, it will be incredibly difficult to sign Moore in your first few seasons in Football Manager 2024. He is unlikely to want to leave until he is 18, and when the time comes, you can expect him to cost upwards of £30m.
With just 91 current ability (CA) he is certainly one for the future, but given his PA range of 160-190, he is guaranteed to become a world-class player as long as you develop him correctly.
Ansu Fati
The second player on our list of top-rated Left Winger wonderkids in Football Manager is Barcelona’s Ansu Fati, who is currently on loan at Brighton.
Due to his loan you will be unable to sign Fait within the first season of your save, however, in the second season, you can expect to pay between £30-£45m for his services.
Fati is a versatile attacker who is strong with both feet. Capable of being used as either a goalscoring threat or a chance creator, he is a valuable addition to any Champions League level team.
Andreas Schjelderup
The next player in our list of Left Winger young talents in Football Manager 2024 is Andreas Schjelderup, who is on loan at FC Nordsjaeland from Benfica.
One of many rising stars in Football Manager 2024 to play for Benfica, when he returns to the club you can expect to pay between £20-£35m if you want to pull him away from the iconic Portuguese team.
Similarly to Fati, Schjelderup is effective as both a creator and finisher. His stats are very well rounded for both of these things, and his 14 in Pace and Acceleration as well as his 15 Dribbling also make him an effective ball carrier.
Joao Rego
The second Benfica player to feature in our list of top Left Winger youth talents in FM24 is Joao Rego.
Rego, who is far less the finished article than Schjelderup begins the game with 100 CA. This means that like Moore, he isn’t yet ready for first-team football and would benefit from a loan to gain consistent playing time and experience.
That being said, he is valued at just £6.4-£9.4m at the start of a save, meaning that he can be one of the biggest wonderkid bargains in FM24.
Alberto Moleiro
Staying in the Iberian Peninsula, the next player in our FM24 Left Wingers wonderkid guide is another one of the more cheap wonderkids in FM24.
Valued between £12.5-£18.5m at the start of the save, Moleiro can instantly slot into teams in any top division and can be a rotation option for the elite teams in those leagues.
Effective as both a creative outlet and a finisher, Moleiro provides a bargain option compared to wonderkids like Schjelderup and Fati in FM24.
Alan Velasco
The final cheap wonderkid in our FM24 Left Winger wonderkids guide is FC Dallas’ Argentinean Winger, Alan Velasco.
Thanks to Velasco playing in the MLS, he is the cheapest player of all on our list of the best Left Winger wonderkids in Football Manager 2024. Valued at just £4.9-£6.2m despite having a CA of 127, Velasco is incredibly cheap for his ability.
He also has a PA range of 140-170, meaning that he has the potential to become a truly world-class player.
