In Season 4 Reloaded for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, sniper rifles have once again become a key element of the game. We've compiled a list of the top 5 sniper rifles that will help you dominate in both Multiplayer and Warzone.
The KATT-AMR is one of the most powerful sniper rifles this season. It’s designed for long-range engagements, where accuracy and stopping power are crucial. With attachments like the Sonic Suppressor XL, Zang-34 barrel, SL Razorhawk laser, .50 Cal High Velocity rounds, and the Ephemeral Quickbolt, this weapon delivers maximum damage and high bullet velocity. It's capable of one-shot kills even from extreme distances. However, due to its weight and slow aim-down-sight (ADS) speed, the KATT-AMR isn’t suitable for mobile or aggressive playstyles.
The Kar98k is a legendary bolt-action sniper that’s returned to the meta as the perfect tool for fast-paced gameplay. It's ideal for fans of quickscoping—snapping onto targets and firing instantly. This is aided by mods such as the Range Caller v3.4 optic, Sonic Suppressor L, Prazisionsgewehr barrel, XRK Edge BW-4 stock, and high-velocity 7.92×57mm rounds. The Kar98k offers lightning-fast ADS speed and allows players to eliminate enemies quickly at medium ranges. Its main downside is inconsistent body-shot damage, especially at long range.
The LR 7.62 is a versatile sniper rifle that balances power, mobility, and control. It excels in both traditional sniping and dynamic engagements that require quick reactions. Equipped with the Monolithic Suppressor, reinforced barrel, lightweight handguard, tactical laser, and a mod to increase fire rate, this rifle becomes a highly reliable choice. The LR 7.62 allows for quick aiming, follow-up shots, and easy recoil management, though it doesn’t always guarantee a one-shot kill—especially to limbs.
The LW3A1 Frostline is a balanced sniper rifle that combines precision and speed. It's especially effective at mid-range and is ideal for players who want to shoot confidently without losing game tempo. Attachments like a suppressor, CHF barrel, Lightweight Pad stock, Quickdraw Riser, and 7.62 NATO Overpressured rounds offer a good balance between recoil control and accurate fire. The Frostline performs well in the hands of players who mix sniping with movement, though it lacks the raw power for consistent one-shot kills to the body at long range.
The HDR is the undisputed top sniper rifle of the season. This weapon is built for long-range dominance. It features incredible accuracy, stable bullet trajectory, and massive stopping power—guaranteeing a headshot kill from across the map. It performs best with the Monolithic Suppressor, Gain-Twist barrel, lightweight bipod, extended magazine, and a fire-rate enhancement mod. HDR is perfect for players who hold angles, control sightlines, and value cold precision over speed. Its only serious downside is its weight and slow ADS, which makes close-range encounters challenging.
Pick a sniper rifle that suits your playstyle: lightweight bolt-actions are better for aggressive players, while heavy calibers excel in steady, long-range control. The most important thing is to practice your aim—and don’t stand still.
