Vitality

This stat dictates your maximum health (HP). The higher your Vitality, the more damage you can take. It's important for every playstyle, especially early on when you're weak or have dodging skills.

Endurance

Defines your stamina pool — a pool of resources used for attacking, dodging, blocking, and sprinting. The more Endurance you have, the longer you will be able to remain active in combat without rest. It’s very handy for aggressive play or wearing heavy armor.

Strength

Affects damage done when using heavy weapons like axes, hammers, and greatswords. The stat is for the people who prefer slow but hard-hitting attacks. High Strength also unlocks certain weapons that require a certain requirement.

Agility

Essential for those choosing fast, lightweight arms like blades, short swords, and two daggers. Agility also accelerates the animation of the attack, improves the dodge, and is important for dodge-and-weave, accurate combat.

Intelligence

Required for casting magic. It boosts the power of magical attacks and affects spell effectiveness. If you plan to play as a mage or use magic in combination with weapons, you’ll need to invest in Intelligence.

Spirit

Determines your mana pool and the frequency with which you can use special abilities. This stat is crucial for summoners, shamans, or characters with unique powers. Spirit also influences some passive magical effects.

Feathering

A unique stat tied to the bird sickness mechanic. It enhances certain types of weapons and spells that are connected to feathers or dark energy. If you're using feather-based or corruption-based abilities, this increases their effectiveness.

Resistance

In some areas, your body is exposed to toxic or magical contamination. The higher your Resistance, the longer you can survive under such conditions without taking damage. This is especially important when exploring infected zones or fighting bosses with decay effects.

Inner Demon

Inner Demon is a unique mechanic that slowly accumulates as you die, kill enemies, interact with cursed objects, or use certain dark abilities. As the percentage increases, so do the effects — both positive and negative.

Once your Inner Demon reaches 50%, you receive a noticeable boost to your damage output. However, you also begin to take more damage from enemies, making every mistake more punishing.

At 90%, the power bonuses become even stronger, allowing you to deal massive damage — but the danger also rises sharply. You’ll be more vulnerable, and the risk of death increases significantly.

When the meter hits 100%, a powerful Inner Demon manifests at the location where you die. To recover your lost resources, you must defeat it in battle. If you fail, your Madness level resets to zero, and all unclaimed souls are lost forever.
