The introduction of new pets in Grow a Garden is always great news for fans of the game, as it's always intriguing to see which animals the developers will add. The Cooking update is no exception, bringing us five new pets, which, although with small odds, we can still obtain.
How to Get Gourmet Egg in Grow a Garden
The only way to get new pets in the Cooking update of Grow a Garden is to grow them from special eggs — Gourmet Egg. To acquire them, you need to complete the main task of the Grow a Garden Cooking event, which involves feeding the pig chef with various dishes. In return, he gives you random rewards based on the rarity, size, and desire to eat a specific dish.
However, the Gourmet Egg is a rare reward, so from feeding just one or even three dishes, you are unlikely to get eggs with pets. For more details on how the cooking and reward system works in the new update, read our other article.
