To increase maximum health, you need to collect Mask Shards. Every four shards grant one additional mask. They are scattered across different areas of the game — some can be purchased, while others must be discovered in hidden rooms or obtained after battles.

The first shard can easily be bought in Bone Bottom from a merchant for 300 Rosaries. The second can be found in the Wormways area, which you can reach through the exit from Mosshome — it’s easiest to get there using Swift Step or jumps.

The third lies in the Far Fields, but it requires the Drifter’s Cloak ability obtained later in the game. Another one is hidden in Shellwood, in a secret spot near Shakra and the Lost Flea.

Some shards are hidden deeper — for example, in the trial room of The Marrow, where you’ll have to survive several waves of enemies, or in Weavenest Atla, where you must use Needolin to reach a lava platform. There are also shards in Cogwork Core, Choral Chambers, and other zones. Once you collect four, Hornet’s health will increase.

How to Increase Silk

Silk is a resource used for abilities and healing. Its capacity can be expanded by collecting Spool Fragments. Two fragments make one full spool, which increases the maximum Silk storage.

The first Spool Fragment can be found in Bone Bottom — after meeting Shakra, head upward and explore the spike-filled room, then break a wall. The second is located in the Deep Docks, beneath the shop near the forge: you’ll need to pass through a lava room and find a hidden passage. The third lies in Greymoor, above the main entrance — you can only reach it after acquiring the Drifter’s Cloak, Cling Grip, and the Crest that lets you use air balloons for traversal.

Another fragment can be purchased from Bellhart after completing his side quest. He will sell the Spool Fragment for 270 Rosaries.
