
Classes determine a character's style of combat, abilities, and effectiveness in a given situation․ Each class includes different abilities, weapons, and gameplay roles, allowing players to choose one that best fits their playstyle․
Sentinel
Sentinel is a balanced sword and shield class, capable of blocking and parrying, building up an attack power called Valor that can be stored for use in high-power counterattacks․ The controlling and support focus of the Sentinel makes it most appropriate for players who enjoy controlling the battlefield for their teammates․
Rockbreaker

Rockbreaker is a melee fighter equipped with heavy gauntlets that can be used for fast attacks and powerful combos, as well as Focus Skills that deal massive damage when used correctly․ Rockbreaker is a highly damaging melee class with good combos and area of effect attacks․ They are very powerful but also relatively slow․

Pyroclast
Pyroclast is an explosive combat-style class. It uses heavy weapons that can be ignited, dealing fire damage. Pyroclast is effective at crowd control and destroying groups of enemies thanks to powerful strikes and burn effects. Key characteristics: high damage potential, strong area-of-effect attacks, and devastating power.
Shadowstriker

Shadowstriker is a fast and agile class that uses a pair of dual daggers to perform fast strike combos․ It especially excels in stealth and close combat where it needs to depend on its speed․ The Shadowstriker character is characterized by high mobility and attack speed, a low defense, rapid attack chains and high damage․
Towerborne features four classes with both positive and negative traits․ Classes can be swapped before missions or while weapon selection is happening․ They can be gained using the Class Mastery system, in which the player can unlock new combinations and class-specific skills․
