Niko - became the best player of Gamers8 2023 according to rating - who took the top 5 players of the tournament?

Yesterday, the exciting tournament called Gamers8 2023 came to an end, and it's time to sum up the players' performances. Let's list the top-5 best players of Gamers8 2023!

#1 - Niko

The rifler of G2 team, Nikola "Niko" Kovac - became the best player of the tournament by rating, as his rating was 6.8 for 9 maps played in the championship. It's worth noting that for more than 5 consecutive tournaments, Nikola has made it into our top tournament players, making him one of the most consistent players on the pro scene right now.

But the rating is not the most impressive thing Niko showed at the championship. His headshot percentage stood out, reaching 56.6%! He also demonstrated almost the best shooting accuracy in the tournament, with an indicator of 19.4%.

#2 - NertZ

Guy "NertZ" Iluz - the Israeli rifler of the ENCE team rightly takes the second place in our top, as he finished the championship with a rating of 6.7 for 9 maps played at Gamers8 2023!

Specifically, NertZ made the most multi-kills in the tournament:

  • Triple kill in the round - 6 times
  • Four kills in a round - 2 times
  • ACE - once.

His ACE took place in a match against Team Liquid during the first round of the tournament:

Moreover, NertZ won a total of 5 clutches:

  • Three - one vs one
  • Two - one vs two.

Remember, ENCE reached the finals but could not break their finals curse and took second place in the tournament.

#3 - ZywOo

Of course, we couldn't overlook the MVP of the entire championship, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut, whose rating was 6.6 for 10 maps played!

In other aspects, it's hard to place ZywOo first, although he didn't make it to most tops, according to many analysts, Mathieu won the tournament for Team Vitality!

Throughout the tournament, he managed to make several multi-kills:

  • Double kill in a round - 37 times
  • Triple kill in a round - 16 times.

But looking at the team as a whole - ZywOo performed the best in this championship!

Remember, this year ZywOo earned his third MVP medal - previously he had the best performance at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 and IEM Rio 2023. Whether he can continue this streak at ESL Pro League Season 18 remains to be seen – the first match for Vitality in the upcoming event will be on August 30.

#4 - SunPayus

The sniper of the ENC  team, Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia, occupies the fourth spot in our ranking, with a rating of 6.5 throughout the tournament!

It was the Spanish sniper SunPayus who clinched four 1v1 clutches and a 1v2 clutch for his team!

Additionally, SunPayus ranked 13th on the list of the best supports of the tournament. You might ask, what's so special about the 13th place? However, if you look closely, nearly all the players ranked above him didn't advance as far in the tournament as he did.

Among his team, the player ranked second in terms of individual performance efficiency!

#5 - huNter

For the Kovac brothers, this tournament turned out to be incredibly successful. Nemanja "huNter" Kovac was no exception, with a rating of 6.5 after 9 maps played!

Nemanja also made it to the list of the tournament's best aimers with a rating of 0.42! His headshot percentage reached 54.3%, and his shooting accuracy stood at 18.5%.

By the way, huNter also stood out with his multi-kills:
