Nature's Prophet is a versatile hero who has become the most meta and powerful carry in patch 7.38b. His mobility, farming speed, and map control abilities make him the perfect hero for split-pushing and applying active pressure. At higher ranks, the hero boasts a win rate of 53.84%, making him one of the most stable heroes in the meta. In this guide, we'll explore the best build, gameplay tactics, and abilities.
Pros and Cons of Nature’s Prophet
Nature's Prophet is strong due to his mobility and tempo play. He can quickly farm, participate in fights, and exert map pressure from the first minute. A key advantage is his ability to instantly teleport into a fight or push, making him extremely effective. His laning is also strong: he rarely loses his lane thanks to high base damage and the ability to effectively trade with supports by summoning treants.
However, the hero has weaknesses. He is very fragile and without defensive items, he can easily die to any control. Nature's Prophet also struggles against mobile heroes who can quickly reach and kill him. He can be quite ineffective in fights without core items.

The treant is classified as a siege unit, making it effective against structures.

Teleportation
Allows Nature’s Prophet to teleport anywhere on the map and grants a barrier upon arrival.
Barrier: 100 / 150 / 200 / 250
Barrier Duration: 15 sec
Cooldown: 65 / 50 / 35 / 20 sec

If the teleport is interrupted, mana is not consumed, and the ability does not go on cooldown.

Wrath of Nature
A global ultimate that bounces between enemies, increasing damage with each hit.
Base Damage: 100 / 140 / 180
Additional Damage per Bounce: 10%
Maximum damage is reached after 16 bounces
Cooldown: 85 sec
Used to weaken enemies before a fight, quickly farm lanes, and finish off fleeing targets.

Ability Skill Build
On the lane, the hero plays aggressively, focusing on summoning treants and controlling through Sprout.
Level one – Max Nature’s Call (3rd skill) as the siege treant helps pressure the lane and harass enemy supports.
Level two – Take Sprout (1st skill) to control ranged creeps and apply additional pressure on opponents.
Level four – Unlock Teleportation.
After maxing out treants, fully upgrade Teleportation to increase mobility and the barrier.

Talent Choices
- Level 10 – -10 sec cooldown on Nature’s Call.
- Level 15 – +50 treant movement speed.
- Level 20 – -15 sec cooldown on Wrath of Nature.
- Level 25 – Treant health/damage increased by 3 times

Nature’s Prophet Build
Start the game with a Magic Stick and three Iron Branches, and bring Tango and additional consumables from the first bounty runes. The first core item is Null Talisman, followed by Power Treads and Maelstrom, which is later upgraded to Mjollnir. Then acquire Dragon Lance, which can be situationally upgraded to Hurricane Pike. If magic damage protection is needed, purchase BKB, then buy Revenant's Brooch. The final item in the build is Satanic, providing excellent survivability in fights.

Situationally, consider buying Silver Edge to disable enemy passive abilities, Monkey King Bar against evasion, Nullifier to dispel positive effects, Bloodthorn against mobile heroes with escapes, Linken’s Sphere for protection against targeted abilities, or Daedalus for additional damage.

How to Play Nature’s Prophet
On the lane, play aggressively, maxing the 3rd skill to harass enemies and farm the lane. The first level of Sprout is taken at level two to secure ranged creeps or control supports. Take Teleportation at level 4 to fly back to base to restore health and mana if the lane is challenging, or retreat to farm the jungle.
If the start is successful, quickly assemble Maelstrom and begin actively farming the jungle while pressuring lanes and taking down T1 towers. The main rule is not to stay in one place but to constantly move around the map.
In the mid-game, the hero shows his potential. He should push lanes, destroy towers, and participate in ganks and fights using Teleportation. After winning fights, it's crucial to immediately transition to tower pushing to increase pressure on the enemy team. However, do not overestimate your strength; if enemies are coming for you, it's better to teleport away and continue farming the jungle or pushing a lane from another side of the map.
In the late game, Nature’s Prophet can fight on par with other carries if he has the key items assembled. In team fights, it's important to keep a distance. If the team is losing fights, the game can be won through split-pushing, forcing enemies to split up.

Strong and Weak Matchups
Nature’s Prophet is strong against immobile heroes. He has a good win rate against Lifestealer, Bloodseeker, and Marci.
It's challenging to play against heroes who can quickly reach and kill him. Spirit Breaker, Clockwerk, and Bounty Hunter pose significant problems as they prevent Nature’s Prophet from moving freely around the map. The hero also struggles against Phantom Assassin and Spectre, who can attack and kill him instantly at any moment.
Nature’s Prophet is one of the strongest carries in patch 7.38b, capable of dominating the lane, quickly farming, pushing, and constantly pressuring lanes. When used correctly, he can dictate the tempo, force enemy mistakes, and win the game through constant pressure.
