Favorites
Expectedly, among the main favorites of DreamLeague Season 25 are Tundra Esports, Team Falcons, and Team Spirit. These teams display high form and stability, making them the main contenders for the title.
- Tundra Esports are currently at the peak of their form, having won two tournaments in a row. Their ability to adapt to the meta and excellent team coordination make them the most dangerous opponents in this tournament. It is also worth noting the arrival of dyrachyo, who became the player Tundra needed to win.
- Team Falcons continue to confirm their status as one of the strongest teams worldwide. Following a good performance in recent tournaments, they've established themselves as a well-coordinated squad, showcasing an aggressive yet thoughtful style of play.
- Team Spirit is gradually gaining momentum after the return of their star players. The team has already shown that they can compete at the highest level, and their individual skill and team chemistry allow them to aim for high positions.
Underdogs
The underdogs of DreamLeague Season 25 are Yakult Brothers and Chimera Esports. While these teams have potential, they face serious competition in this tournament.
- Yakult Brothers is a new Chinese roster featuring legendary players like Ame and Emo. Despite their immense individual talent, the team has not yet shown themselves on the international stage, and their regional difficulties raise questions about their stability in matches against Western opponents.
- Chimera Esports is a new team on the international scene, rapidly gaining momentum. They have already scored several unexpected victories, but they still lack experience in matches against top-tier opponents. DreamLeague S25 will serve as a serious test and opportunity for them to prove that they're not just another temporary lineup but a true contender for high positions.
Dark Horses
The dark horses category in DreamLeague S25 includes PARIVISION and Gaimin Gladiators. These teams have the potential to upset expectations, but remain unpredictable.
- PARIVISION continues to search for their game after changes in their lineup. Although their new carry Satanic shows a good level of individual skill, the team lacks stability. They have ambitions to compete with the best but have yet to achieve the desired results.
- Gaimin Gladiators recently placed second at BLAST Slam II, restoring belief in their ability to compete at the highest level. However, their performances in the PGL Wallachia S4 qualifiers are concerning, as the team again failed to make it to the LAN. They need to prove that they can maintain a high level of form on a regular basis.
