AK Spray Pattern CS2
The AK spray pattern CS2 is the most important one to learn. It's the backbone of Terrorist-side rifles.
The AK-47 pattern:
- First 10 bullets go straight up
- After bullet 10, it shifts left
- Around bullet 20, it shifts right
- Total pattern looks like an inverted 7
How to control AK recoil in CS2:
- Start shooting
- Pull mouse down immediately (counteract the upward climb)
- Around bullet 10, pull down AND slightly right (counteract left drift)
- Around bullet 20, pull down AND slightly left (counteract right drift)

Crosshair Placement Reduces Need for Spray Control
The best players barely spray because their crosshair is already on the enemy's head. Practice keeping your crosshair at head level while moving around maps. If your first 3 bullets are headshots, you don't need to control a 20-bullet spray.
Common Mistakes
Spraying too early: Wait until you stop moving before shooting.
Over-correcting: Small mouse movements control spray better than big jerky motions.
Spraying at long range: Tap or burst fire instead beyond 20 meters.
