Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, a Counter-Strike legend, joined BC.Game Esports in July 2025. This move shocked the CS2 community. Why did the greatest player pick a lesser-known team? Who is BC.Game Esports? What have they achieved? Who plays for them? Who runs the show? Let’s break it down and look at their goals with s1mple on board.
What is BC.Game Esports?
BC.Game Esports is a Counter-Strike 2 team. It was founded on June 25, 2024. The team is based in Belize. It operates from Sweden for European competitions. It’s a subsidiary of BC.Game Casino. Kera Media manages the team. They focus on competing in CS2 tournaments. Their goal is to grow in the esports scene.

Achievements so far
BC.Game Esports has made quick progress after they bought the core of BLEED. Yet the biggest win was CCT Season 2 European Series #19 in March 2025. They earned $22,000 there. Right before that victory they also reached the CCT Season 2 European Series #18 final and got $10,000. Their total prize money is around $59,762.
The CCT results let the team get invited to BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025: European Regional Qualifier, but the Major dreams were too far. BC.Game could beat fnatic in the opening match, but fell to Metizport, BIG, and B8 later finishing the event with 1-3 score in the swiss.
Also the team won the Intel Extreme Masters Dallas 2025: European Qualifier and was set to play there with Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy as the stand-in. But the player didn’t get the visa on time so they used Aleksandar “CacaNito” Kjulukoski and finished the event last. In one match BC.Game also got beaten by s1mple, who dropped a rating 7.6 playing for FaZe.

Current and past players
The team’s current roster includes:
- Nemanja “nexa” Isaković (IGL)
- Luca “pr1metapz” Voigt (Support)
- Aleksandar “CacaNito” Kjulukoski (Rifler)
- Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev (AWPer)
- Andreas "aNdu" Maasing (Rifler)
- Luka "emi" Vuković (Coach)
Past players include:
- Tim “nawwk” Jonasson (AWPer, benched June 2025 and left the org in July)
- Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad (benched April 2025)
- Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács (coach and temporary player, 2024)
- CYPHER (left for fnatic before s1mple’s signing)
- Joel “joel” Holmlund (removed after cheating accusations in August 2024)
- Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson (left April 2025)
- Guy "anarkez" Trachtman (benched October 2024)
- Simon "KWERTZZ" Horá (left October 2024)
S1mple replaced nawwk as the AWPer. The team doesn’t like a confident contender for anything, so we can expect more roster changes any time soon.
Who owns BC.Game Esports?
BC.Game Esports is a subsidiary of BC.Game, a crypto-based gaming platform. Kera Media operates the esports division. The owners focus on blending gaming and esports. They invest in players and tournaments. Their funding comes from the casino’s revenue. They aim to grow their brand through CS2 success.
Ambitions with s1mple
S1mple’s signing is a big deal. He’s a three-time Player of the Year. He won the PGL Stockholm Major in 2021. His skills could lift BC.Game Esports to new heights. The team ranks 66th in Valve’s Regional Standings now. With s1mple, they would definitely want to reach higher. The new roster debut is set for ESL Challenger League Season 50: Europe - Cup #1 on August 11, 2025.
They lack direct invites to many tournaments. They must play lots of online matches. They’ll likely travel to LAN events across Europe. This earns Valve ranking points. It helps them climb the rankings. A new rifler could complete the stack. Still, their future is unclear. The roster lacks stability. Their ranking could drop. S1mple’s ambition is high, but success isn’t guaranteed.

Community thoughts
Players and fans are split. Some say s1mple’s skills will carry the team. Others think Tier 3 is too low for him. Many praise his choice to rebuild from the ground up. They like his drive to play after two years on the bench. Most agree: his presence boosts BC.Game’s visibility.
BC.Game Esports is an ambitious team. They’ve won a couple of tournaments and shown promise. S1mple’s arrival signals bigger plans. Their owners want to make waves in CS2. Can s1mple lead them to Tier 1? Only time will tell.
