In 2023, Shopify Rebellion became the champions of the Game Changer Championship 2023, securing a hard-fought victory over Team Liquid Brazil with a score of 3-2. Thanks to this, the team was regarded as one of the strongest throughout 2024, and they proved it once again.
The Team's Journey at Game Changers Championship 2024
Shopify Rebellion qualified for the world championship by winning the final stage of the Game Changers North America Series 3, which, in addition to the regular event during the season, serves as a qualifying stage for the championship. The team showcased the highest level of play, and throughout the event, they played only one map, yet the American team finished the event without losing a single match. As a result, Shopify Rebellion earned $20,000 in prize money, as well as an invitation to the world championship.

As favorites, the team began their performance at the Game Changer Championship 2024 and continued to support it by not suffering any defeats throughout the event.
