The first stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 ended yesterday, and the eight best teams that will compete in the Legends stage were determined. But who was the best in terms of individual performance? We compiled the top 5 best Challengers stage players among those selected as legends.
5. huNter
4. REZ
Before the start of the Major, there were many questions about NIP, given the lack of stability in the game. However, at the Major, they already managed to win against MOUZ and OG, and this already causes cautious optimism before the start of Legends. And one of the reasons for optimism is Fredrik REZ Sterner, now the Swedish club's main trump card.
3. Ropz
FaZe was selected as the legend of the major not without problems, losing only one match, where the team stumbled against ENCE. The author of the best performances was Robin ropz Kohl, with a rating of 6.8. And if he had not failed in the bo3-series against FORZE, he could have easily claimed at least the second place in the top. The firepower of ropz remains at a consistently high level.
2. jks
Australian Justin jks Savage performed well for four maps in Challengers, but best of all against Apeks, scoring a 7.4 rating in that match. Jks played effectively in the exchanges while getting frequent and accurate kills to the head. There are no questions about his shooting - according to the stage results, he became one of the best riflemen.
1. m0NESY
The gap of G2 sniper Ilya m0NESY Osypov turned out to be quite large - 7.4 against 6.9 for jks on a similar number of maps. It is worth reminding that during this tournament stage, the young athlete played proactively and made the largest number of entries among all those who participated in the Challengers. With such an active sniper, G2 can realistically claim to get into the playoffs with a comfortable score of 3:1 or 3:0 if NiKo is fully involved.
