Oasis Gaming bids farewell to Georggyyy

The Filipino esports club, Oasis Gaming, announced the termination of their collaboration with their main player, George “Georggyyy” Lachica. After eight months with the team, the esports athlete has been released from his duties, as revealed on the official Twitter account of the organization.

George “Georggyyy” Lachica joined the team in January 2023 and immediately secured a win for the team in the SIBOL 2023 National Team Selection for Sea Games 2023. The 32nd Southeast Asian Games, where Oasis Gaming represented as the Philippines national team, ended with the team securing 3rd place. In the VCT competitive season, the team won silver medals in both stages of the Valorant Challengers 2023: Philippines - Split 1 and Split 2. This did not allow the team to enter the crucial tier-2 tournament Ascension, where a slot for the higher league was at stake.

The organization warmly bid farewell to their now-former player, highlighted his best moments, and expressed gratitude for his invaluable contributions to the team.

Today, we bid farewell to Georggyyy. Thank you for letting us witness your Jett masterclass. We will never forget the entries, aces, clutches, and memes. May the roads of Oasis lead you to your next destination. Thank you and see you on the server.

The player reciprocated the gratitude towards the team but has yet to reveal his future plans. Whether he will immediately seek a new organization or perhaps take a creative break remains uncertain. Stay tuned to our portal to learn about the future of the Filipino player.
