The Japanese esports team known as FENNEL has announced the extension of its sponsorship contract with "HOTEL LOVERS," the company managing the online contact lens store "HOTEL LOVERS," for the naming rights of the FENNEL Valorant women's division since 2022 and has entered into a third contract.
In 2022, FENNEL competed in the world's first VALORANT Game Changers Championship 2022 as a representative of East Asia, securing eighth place worldwide. Last year, in Split1, there were situations where the team faced difficulties, including losses in open qualifying rounds, but in Split2, they showcased their strength, securing second and fourth place in the East Asian tournament.
As a result of this agreement, the FENNEL Valorant women's division will retain its name as "FENNEL HOTELAVA" and uniform logo. FENNEL HOTELAVA is currently participating in the official Japanese tournament VALORANT Game Changers Japan 2024, which began on April 12 and determines the right to participate in the Asian tournament in the Pacific region. The team continues its efforts to surpass its previous result, exceeding eighth place worldwide, with a new lineup that includes a new player from the Caucasus and a new coach, GODLIKE, who joined in March of this year.
