The long-awaited replay system in VALORANT is set to launch with patch 11.06, scheduled for release in September 2025, following the game’s transition to Unreal Engine 5. The announcement was made by the developers in a new video on the game’s official YouTube channel.
The replay feature, arguably one of the most highly requested in the game’s history, will finally arrive in September 2025 with patch 11.06. At launch, it will be a limited version: players will only be able to review matches from ranked modes. The system will initially be available for the PC version of VALORANT, with console support planned for later the same year. Eventually, replays from other game modes will also be added.
The new system will not only help players improve their in-game performance, but it will also benefit content creators by allowing free camera movement during matches—without relying on awkward workarounds. Let’s hope Riot delivers on this promise and we’ll get to try it out this September.
