Tier 2 Rainbow Six in Europe Launches with New Format and Offline Finals

The second division system of Rainbow Six in Europe is undergoing a major update. In the 2025/26 season, teams will be able to earn Circuit Points not only in the three main tournaments — R6 Central Combine, R6 South Breach, and R6 North Rainbow Rumble — but also in officially licensed secondary competitions. Ubisoft is also opening participation to players from the Middle East and North Africa, and the finals will once again be held offline — now with stands and an audience.

This expansion of opportunities makes the European Tier 2 truly vibrant and ambitious: more matches, more teams, more paths to the professional scene. Now any team ready to go through the qualifiers and compete for prizes will have a chance to make a name for themselves.

How the Tier 2 Structure in Europe Has Changed

Previously, the Tier 2 system was centered around three major tournaments. Now, Ubisoft has added secondary licensed tournaments to the ecosystem — as long as they comply with the regulations and timelines (from June to November), they can earn participants Circuit Points. This offers more opportunities for new organizers and amateur teams.

Furthermore, for the first time, teams from the Middle East and North Africa are joining the European cycle. This not only increases competition but also unites more regions into a single system. Transfer rules, roster requirements, and the point system have also been updated.
