New Skins and Return of Doktor’s Curse and M.U.T.E. Protocol in Y10S3 Rainbow Six Siege

The launch of the new season's TTS for High Stakes Y10S3 in Rainbow Six Siege has immediately sparked interest within the community. As usual, data miners have not overlooked the update and have found hints of the return of legendary modes, as well as a plethora of new skins.

History of Doktor’s Curse and M.U.T.E. Protocol Modes

Doktor’s Curse first appeared in 2019 during the Ember Rise operation. The mode was based on the concept of "Hide and Seek": the defending team transformed into monsters that had to hide without weapons but could reinforce walls and use abilities. The attackers, or hunters, were equipped with the unique skills of selected operators and armed with Sledge hammers to flush opponents out of hiding and catch them.

M.U.T.E. Protocol debuted in 2020 as part of the Steel Wave operation. Its highlight was the stylization of operators as cybernetic robots. Attackers could switch forms between a drone and a character, materializing where they left the drone. Defenders, on the other hand, gained the ability to move through bulletproof cameras, effectively turning the map into a network of instant teleporters.
