Team Secret and G2 Esports have secured their spots in the semifinals of the Esports World Cup 2025 in Rainbow Six Siege X. Both teams earned their places by winning their playoff quarterfinal matches against Team Weibo and Ninjas in Pyjamas, respectively.

G2 Esports emerged victorious in a hard-fought match against NiP, with a final score of 2:1. The opening map, Kafe Dostoyevsky, went 7:3 in G2’s favor. NiP bounced back on Bank with a 7:4 win, but the deciding map, Lair, turned out to be the most intense — going to overtime before G2 closed it out. NiP exits the tournament in 5th–8th place, earning $75,000, while G2 Esports will face the winner of VP vs FURIA in the semifinals.

Team Secret vs Team Weibo

Team Secret had no trouble dispatching Team Weibo in a clean 2:0 victory (Skyscraper 7:4, Chalet 7:4). For Weibo, this marks the end of their run at EWC 2025 Rainbow Six, finishing 5th–8th and taking home $75,000. Team Secret will continue their campaign in the semifinals, with their opponent to be determined after the final quarterfinal match on August 7.
