From May 10 to 18, Rio de Janeiro will host RE:L0:AD 2025 — the first major tournament of the new Rainbow Six Siege season. All 20 partner teams of the global R6 Share 2025 program will participate, and the venue will be Carioca Arena 1. This tournament will also mark the debut of the updated game version — Siege X — on the professional stage.
The group stage of RE:L0:AD 2025 will follow the unique "Reload to Survive" system, where survival is contested at every stage. Only the top 8 teams will advance to the playoffs, battling in a Single Elimination bracket. Quarterfinals and semifinals will be played in a Best-of-3 format, while the champion will be determined in a Best-of-5 grand final. The prize pool for the tournament is $520,000. More details about the tournament format can be found in our special article.

After winning the Six Invitational 2025, FaZe Clan enters RE:L0:AD as the main title contender. The team already boasts a rich history of achievements: second place at SI 2024, victories in the Brazilian League and BR Premier 2024, top 4 at the Montreal Major, and top 8 at the Esports World Cup 2024. Their cohesion, experience, and confidence make them a formidable opponent for any team.
The Saudi organization that acquired the BDS roster after SI25 quickly made a name for itself as a new force on the global R6 stage. These players have already won the Esports World Cup 2024, finished second in two majors, and took second place at the Six Invitational 2025. If the team continues in this vein, they could very well contend for the title.
The American team showed inconsistent but at times impressive results last season — top 4 in Manchester, top 8 at EWC, yet weaker performances in Montreal and at SI. During the off-season, the roster was strengthened with two new players who could give the team a new boost.
The team that dominated the Japanese scene last year consistently falters at international tournaments. At the Six Invitational 2024 and 2025, they only managed 17–20th places, and at both majors — in Manchester and Montreal — they finished in the 12–14th place range. Attempts to adapt to the global level have yet to yield results, and SCARZ clearly lacks the aggression and pace to compete with the strongest. Without significant progress in team chemistry and mental approach, they face another battle for survival in the group stage.
Once known as an Asian organization, Elevate is now betting on a completely revamped Brazilian roster. This decision might be a strategic move for the future, but currently, the team looks raw and uncoordinated. They need to not only develop a style but also adapt to the pace of the international stage. Given the fierce competition at RE:L0:AD, featuring the world's best teams, Elevate is likely to perform modestly. For them, this tournament is not so much a chance for success as it is an important step in preparing for the main competitive season.
The team was formed just a year ago, and despite quick successes in their regional league, they have yet to make a loud statement on the international stage. A 17–20th place at the Six Invitational 2025, 13–16th at the Esports World Cup 2024, and 9–11th at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester — all these results indicate a lack of experience and depth in preparation. Under these conditions, PSG Talon will find it difficult to make it to the playoffs. They need time to develop stability and confidence in their game against top-tier opponents.
RE:L0:AD 2025 will mark the beginning of a new era in Rainbow Six Siege — with a revamped game, an unusual format, and a chance for new players to make a name for themselves. FaZe Clan and Falcons are the top favorites, but such tournaments often become a stage for unexpected breakthroughs and surprises.
