Making their way to the playoffs of the last major in the history of CS:GO, both teams overcame an incredible path and did a great job. The manifestation of moral and willful qualities began in the Challengers stage: Monte came back with 1:2 statistics, and GamerLegion with 0:2 statistics.
It cannot be said that it was much easier for the teams at the Legends stage, but they gained an excellent playing tone and, almost without problems, earned their slots in the tournament playoffs. On its way, Monte dealt with FURIA Esports, Fnatic, and Natus Vincere. Volodimir Woro2k Veletniuk's team lost only to one of the main favorites of the championship — Team Vitality.
