During the first round of the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR A for CS2, we will witness a showdown between Natus Vincere and KOI. Bo3.gg, in collaboration with Fedor "KvaN" Zakharov, presents a preview, forecast, and analysis of this match, which will take place on February 14 at 14:00 EET.
NAVI's results after the first major tournaments in 2024 look ambiguous. Initially, the team of Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen performed quite well at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024, where they took first place in the group and earned a slot in the spring finals. However, at IEM Katowice 2024, the team failed and could not advance from the group stage. It can be confidently stated that NAVI lacks stability.
This season, KOI has not yet participated in major championships. The Spanish team has been entirely focused on various qualifiers. David "dav1g" Granado's squad successfully qualified for RMR but failed to qualify for IEM Chengdu 2024. Based on this, it is difficult to predict what form KOI will be in at the RMR event in Bucharest.

Current Form
In their last five matches, NAVI have not looked overly confident and have won three of them. In turn, KOI has also not looked stable, but their opponents were teams from the second and third tiers.

Map Pool
When choosing maps, bans on Vertigo from NAVI and Mirage from KOI are obvious. Beyond that, it's difficult to predict. Hypothetically, the Spanish team could try to lean towards a veto on Nuke, where they have good statistics. However, it's worth remembering that KOI's opponents were tier 2-3 teams, and against NAVI, everything could be different. In theory, Aleksib's team should not care which map the match will be played on.

Prediction from KvaN
Fedor "KvaN" Zakharov, a commentator at the Maincast studio, has analyzed and commented on numerous Counter-Strike tournaments. Over the past year, exclusively for Bo3.gg, he has made a large number of predictions, with over 50% proving to be correct!
At first glance, NAVI looks like the super favorite, but KOI has very dangerous and experienced performers. I think in a BO1 format, NAVI could struggle, but with the right level of preparation, they should close it out. I'll give NAVI a 60/40 chance.Fedor "KvaN" Zakharov
