FAQ
NiKo currently uses a mouse sensitivity of 0.9 paired with 800 DPI, resulting in an effective eDPI of 720. This relatively low sensitivity allows for greater precision in aiming and micro-adjustments, which is crucial for consistently landing accurate shots, especially in high-pressure situations. Such settings are favored by many top-level players as they offer a balance between swift crosshair movement and precise control.
NiKo’s crosshair is designed to be compact and highly visible, utilizing a static style with a gap of -4, length and thickness set to 1, and no center dot. The color is set to bright white (RGB 255,255,255), and outlines are disabled. This minimalist configuration reduces distractions and provides a clear point of reference for precise aiming, which is essential for quick target acquisition and maintaining focus during intense firefights.
NiKo plays at a resolution of 1280x960 with a 4:3 aspect ratio, using a stretched scaling mode. This setup makes player models appear wider, which can make enemies easier to spot and track, a well-known advantage among professional players. The 4:3 stretched resolution also helps with maintaining high frame rates and reducing input latency, both of which are critical for competitive performance.
NiKo currently uses the ZOWIE XL2586X+ monitor, which is known for its high refresh rate and fast response times. He utilizes the 'Premium' DyAc (Dynamic Accuracy) setting to reduce motion blur and improve clarity during rapid movements. Additionally, he sets color vibrance to 15 and keeps low blue light and black equalizer at 0, prioritizing visibility and sharpness to ensure he never misses important visual cues during gameplay.
NiKo's video settings are heavily optimized for performance and visibility. He disables V-Sync and G-Sync, sets most details (shader, particle, texture) to low, and caps his maximum FPS in-game at 400. Ambient occlusion and player contrast boost are disabled, and he uses 8x MSAA for anti-aliasing. These settings prioritize high frame rates, minimal input lag, and clear visuals, all of which are crucial for maintaining a consistent competitive advantage.
NiKo customizes his keybinds to streamline weapon and utility selection, using intuitive assignments such as 'kp_0' for buying AK-47 or M4A1, 'home' for smoke grenades, 'ins' for molotov/incendiary, and 'pgdn' for HE grenades. He also binds 'mwheeldown' to jump and 'mouse5' to toggle radar scale, enabling quick access to essential actions and tactical information without disrupting his focus or hand positioning.
NiKo uses the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro NiKo Edition headset, known for its excellent sound clarity and directional audio capabilities. This headset helps him accurately pinpoint enemy footsteps and other crucial in-game sounds, enhancing his situational awareness and reaction time—key factors in high-level competitive play where audio cues can mean the difference between winning and losing a round.
NiKo's current mouse is the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro NiKo Edition, a device tailored for professional-level performance. It features a high polling rate of 2000 Hz, which ensures ultra-low input latency and exceptionally responsive tracking. The ergonomic shape and reliable sensor make it ideal for consistent flicks and precision aiming, both hallmarks of NiKo’s gameplay.
Throughout his career, NiKo has experimented with various sensitivities, ranging from as low as 0.35 up to 1.2, often adjusting his settings to match new hardware or game updates. This willingness to adapt reflects a deep understanding of how sensitivity affects performance and a commitment to continually optimizing his setup for maximum precision and comfort as the game and his playstyle evolve.
NiKo’s current setup features an AMD Ryzen 9950X3D processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. This high-end combination ensures that he experiences minimal frame drops and maximum consistency in high-FPS scenarios, which is vital for competitive CS2 where every millisecond counts. The powerful hardware allows him to fully leverage high refresh rates and advanced graphical features without compromising on performance.
