In his latest interview, legendary Danish player Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth  stated his desire to continue his career in CS2!

Xyp9x:

I feel like I'm ready to play at the dash-1 level in CS2. I recently turned 28 years old. I'm still young - also for the pro scene. I feel I have a lot to offer on the server.
I've won a lot of titles, four majors in particular, and I just recently turned 28. So I'm still young - also for the pro scene. I am strong mentally, I have gained a lot of experience and I know that playing under pressure doesn't affect me.

But Xyp9x has a bit of a problem, his contract with Astralis doesn't expire until the end of 2025! But still in the world of bureaucracy it is possible to rent or buy out a player, so still we will be able to see the legend in action a little earlier!

Recall that in April 2023, Astralis management transferred the player to the academic squad, and after two months of play he was put on the bench!
