On December 15th, MOUZ defeated Cloud9 with a score of 2:0 (Mirage 13:1, Ancient 13:7) in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 maps. This victory secured a place in the championship semifinals for the mice.
Since MOUZ overall closed their opponents without obvious problems, it is definitely worth listening to them. Here's the comment from torzsi regarding Cloud9:
It's much easier to play against a team that doesn't have a sniper. You just know you'll never face it, so you play more aggressively. Before that game, I was thinking about playing aggressively. I knew there wouldn't be an AWP there. It's much easier to come out on top, and you feel more confident. Understanding this fact helped me a lot.
However, after this transfer, the team no longer had a permanent sniper. That's why xertioN's comment is based on this:
Despite the fact that all the players in Cloud9 are excellent, it's a bit easier for us to play on the attack against them compared to other teams.[Some say it's easier for them to take positions on the map on the attack]. They had such a problem on Inferno, on CT, when sh1ro liked to play on B. And I definitely remember telling my coach that I would like to go to A instead. They definitely need to do something about it.
Today at 13:30 Kiev time, the team will face FaZe Clan for a place in the championship final.
