Woro2k will play against s1mple for the first time in a major tournament - year ago, Monte sniper claimed he would "destroy" Kostyliev

Following today's match day at the Major, the pairs for the next round of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 have been determined. One of the matches that will attract special attention from fans is Monte - NAVI, as it will determine who advances to the playoffs.

It's not just because it's the first tier-1 match (and also at a Major) between two Ukrainian teams in a very long time, but it's also a reunion of two long-time rivals, s1mple and Woro2k. This sniper duo had a quarrel in the finals of the Kinguin Legends 2022 show tournament, exchanging remarks in voice chat and on Twitter.

If we filter out tier-2/3 online tournaments, s1mple surpasses Monte in many aspects. And at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, his shooting was on point.
