According to information from Dust2.us and Dust2.se, the Wildcard organization is planning to sign Swedish duo Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Tim "susp" Ångström. In conjunction with this, Wildcard will part ways with recent additions Adam "Grizz" Golden and AWPer Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan, who was the last remaining player from the roster that joined CS in April 2023.
According to Dust2.us, negotiations for phzy have been ongoing for about a month now, with discussions on susp terms to follow. Both players have significant experience in international squads: phzy has previously played for NIP, Sangal and Asian team Rare Atom, while susp has been a revelation in recent months with Metizport, who caught the eye in the spring of 2024.
With the two players joining, the lineup will look like this:
The organization will still be based in North America and will be able to represent the region in Americas RMR as per Valve's team location rules.
In addition, the lack of a regional majority in the roster allows the team to choose which region to represent: two North Americans, two Europeans, and one African player who will be assigned to the Asian region in the RMR process.
