In an interview after their exit from the tournament in Brazil, device admitted that cadiaN's system requires time for adaptation and cohesion. According to him, the new captain's gaming philosophy differs from the strategies he is used to. "Some of the guys are familiar with it, but for me, it's a new experience," said device in an interview with Dust2 Brasil. "We haven't found our rhythm yet. It's obvious from the results."
He also noted that the role of the second voice on the map requires greater coordination, especially on the defense side, to choose the right positions. On the attacking side, device relies more on team decisions, leaving the initiative to cadiaN.
Changes in the Astralis Roster
It should be noted that device himself took on the role of captain in February, replacing Benjamin "blameF" Bremer after a failed qualification for the PGL Major Copenhagen. At that time, he stated that he saw himself in this role for years to come. However, with the arrival of cadiaN, new changes occurred, which device accepted as a good chance for the team. "If this means that I will play in the AWP position, then so be it. Let's see if this will be the last time I am the captain," he added.
