Virtus.pro will miss the BLAST Paris Major - the Major champions will not be able to defend their title for the first time in CS:GO history

Virtus.pro were eliminated from the race to qualify for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, losing to MOUZ at the European RMR Group A with a score of 0:2. This is the first time in CS:GO history that the reigning Major champions, who won the IEM Rio Major under the Outsiders tag, have failed to qualify for the next tournament of this level.

VP finished their performance at the BLAST.tv Major Paris: European RMR A 2023 with a record of 1-3 in matches. They were only able to win against Falcons, while subsequent matches against B8, ITB, and MOUZ ended in defeats.

It's worth noting that VP played the elimination match with a substitute - KaiR0N- supposedly couldn't handle the pressure of the LAN event, so n0rb3r7 replaced him. There are rumors that the player's visa had actually expired today.

Ironically, n0rb3r7 turned out to be the best player on his team alongside Jame in the match, but the undisputed MVP was Slovakian player frozen with an excellent rating of 8.2. He achieved these numbers thanks to his statistics of 51-20 kills and an average damage per round of 107 points.
