GamerLegion, a team actively participating in LAN tournaments, recently experienced changes in its lineup and strategy. The addition of Sebastian "volt" Malosh and Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski opened a new chapter for the squad, which has been showing inconsistent results, finishing not at the top in tournaments like Elisa Masters Espoo 2023 and Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023.
Volt shared his thoughts on his adaptation process and interaction with the new in-game leader, CS:GO legend Snax. He admitted feeling some uncertainty due to changes in his roles and the need to quickly adapt to a new style of play. However, he also expressed admiration for the opportunity to learn from someone with such rich experience.
It's pretty insane, he's one of the players I was watching back in 2014-2015 when I first started playing CS:GO. Back then I would've never imagined I would get to play with someone like him in a team and it's nice to have someone with his experience to learn from.
Currently, the team is preparing for ESL Challenger at DreamHack Atlanta 2023, where they will face teams like Complexity, Apeks, and TheMongolZ. However, due to visa issues, volt will not be able to participate in this tournament, and he will be replaced by Andreas "aNdu" Maasing from GamerLegion Academy.
The team's main goal in the coming months is to perform well at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR and to try to secure a spot at the first major with CS2. Considering the recent changes in the lineup and the adaptation of new players, GamerLegion faces the challenge of proving its competitiveness on the international stage.
