Vitality became champions of IEM Rio 2023

The French club Vitality defeated Heroic in the final of IEM Rio 2023, winning their first major title of the year.

Vitality won 2-0, but the match was not easy for the French-Danish team as Heroic put up a fight on both maps: Vertigo - 16:12 (Vitality's pick) and Inferno (Heroic) - 16:12.

Magisk was the MVP of the final with a rating of 6.8, 44 kills, and the highest average damage per round - 93. Only cadiaN's K/D ratio was positive for Heroic.

Vitality not only became $100,000 richer, but also secured a slot at IEM Cologne 2023. They also won the first of four tournaments needed to win the fifth season of the Intel Grand Slam. Heroic, on the other hand, will have to settle for $42,000.
