French team Vitality has secured a place in the IEM Rio 2024 playoffs after defeating The MongolZ 2-0 in the top bracket semifinals. The match took place on the Inferno and Nuke maps, where Vitality demonstrated a dominant performance, finishing both maps with a 19:17 advantage on Inferno and 13:8 on Nuke.
Phenomenal performance of ZywOo
The main star of the match was ZywOo, who showed an incredible individual performance with 69 kills and a +40 K/D difference. His stability and ability to make the right decisions at critical moments allowed Vitality to take advantage in clutches on both maps. On Inferno, the French team narrowly avoided the third additional rounds, ending the game in their favor with a score of 19:17. ZywOo continued to dominate on the second map, where Vitality easily defeated their rivals from MongolZ with a score of 13:8.
