Virtus Pro advanced to the semifinals of BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, defeating Astralis

Virtus Pro defeated Astralis, for whom this tournament was a major priority since they had only placed 3rd-4th in their previous tournaments with their updated roster. The BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, with a significant prize pool of $425,000, is being held in a LAN format in London at the OVO Arena.

The match started on Inferno, Astralis's pick, where they began with four consecutive round wins, but their momentum faltered afterwards. They ended up losing the map 13-8. The second map was Dust 2, picked by Virtus Pro, where the first half mirrored the first game. They started down 0-4, but managed to turn it around and win 13-10.

The decisive map was supposed to be Mirage, but it wasn't needed. The best player of the match was device, who, despite his team's loss, showcased incredible performance and, being the team's captain, made his performance even more impressive.

In the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024 semifinals, Virtus Pro will face NAVI for a chance to compete in the tournament's grand final.
